  1. Indeed. Probably in a box somewhere - what's your point?
  2. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/197011080buf.htm It was probably my 8th birthday present. We sat 2nd or 3rd row, behind the Bills bench. We actually led 14-13 after an OJ Simpson TD, but Cinci returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD. On their kickoff, OJ ripped up a knee, and we didn't score another point. I remember OJ being carried off right in front of us. I still have the pennant from that game.
  3. psst - month
  4. #278, about half an hour ago
  5. Stalk much?
  6. Watched the Boris Karloff original Frankenstein last year. Might watch the Lugosi Dracula this year.
  7. Holy crap I'm perfect for this job...
  8. I'm with ya on this. I think the benefits of showing that the turnaround has begun, that the coaching staff is capable, and that the rest of the team has bought in outweigh the difference between pick 1 and pick 5 (just as an example). I also feel that with so many positions needing upgrades, we might want to trade down and it's sometimes tough to trade the #1 pick but trading #5 for #s 9 and 24 (again just an example) is more doable.
  9. I look for KC to NOT fall into the trap that Baltimore did and to actually concentrate on the run. Pound the ball, score some points and soften up the D for later in the game. Not sure there's much we can do about it, short of causing some turnovers.
  10. I too commented to Beerball that I expected it to be louder when they were on D. The fans who were around us were pretty good. We talked football with them and were respectful, and they even stuck up for us when one kid got rambunctious after they went up 10 - told him to cool it. On the way out they were giving props, happy to have come out with the W. One girl ran up to me yelling "hug a Bills fan!", which she did
  11. We now have offensive coaches who can adjust to the personnel on the field. They knew they had a rookie making his first start against a very aggressive D and they constructed a game plan to minimize the risk - ran mostly up the middle or left, alot of quick slant type passes. Baltimore had a very interesting formation that they used in alot of 3rd down situations - 3 man line but DEs both lined up very wide with a LB and DB right next to them so there were 3 out wide on each side with the NT in the middle. The OL had to adjust to which of the 3 on each side came on the rush, and the line handled it quite well.
  12. Yeah me too (pic #30)
  13. this is not quite right. The Bills do have a veteran backup. Unfortunately he's starting. What we don't have (yet) is the young QB.
  14. Even better now - Mostly Sunny & 69!
  15. Speaking of high nuisance/no value - I'd like to add fleas, ticks, and lice to my list.
  16. Sure hope there wasn't some dude in tight pants trying to interview her in the locker room afterwards.
  17. I think if they said "Maybin - you go get the QB. Every Play. You have no other responsibility. Don't cover anybody, don't fill a gap. Just go get the QB. Go wherever you need to go to get to him.", he'd at least provide a little benefit.
  18. Eli Manning, right after being selected by the Chargers.
