  1. Update: All charges have been dropped. Apparently there's now a law on the books that says that if a call for help is made for someone in drug-related distress, no charges will be brought against the caller or victim for drug amounts under certain limits. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/drug-charge-dropped-against-bon-jovis-daughter-220945819.html
  2. Spend the extra $ and get seats on ticket exchange in a lower-bowl season ticket holder section (between the 10s). You'll be glad you did.
  3. Those French people have a different word for EVERYTHING!
  4. I was thinking about this. Dude's brother, who is considered by security/cops to be too intoxicated to be allowed to stay in the stadium, gets ejected and he knows about it. Does he go with his brother to make sure he's OK? No, he says in and watches the rest of the game.
  5. I dunno - if they were so easy to find, every team would have one. I believe there's way more to it than just having a 260 pound guy run as fast as he can into the pile. Our M.O. seems to be hoping we can coach up some middle-of-the-road players and we're not often all that successful at it.
  6. CMac has been here for almost 4 years. You'd think they would know by now if he was capable of doing this. I've seen Dickerson run the ball once - a miserably failed H-Back hand off that was basically an end-around.
  7. This may become my dead horse. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/152560-bills-have-top-5-nfl-offensive-line/page__st__20?do=findComment&comment=2631181
  8. That one of Kenny is not from last night's game. Ketchup ceremony was done after sundown.
  9. So by ejecting the guy they got him out of the stadium. But did they serve him any alcohol during the game? If so they may be liable. They're not supposed to allow obviously intoxicated people into the stadium in the first place. Another question - does putting obviously intoxicated people back on the street make them liable? Public intoxication is illegal is it not? Should he have been moved to a drunk tank instead of just being deposited outside the gate?
  10. Right - charge another $20 for the cake and $10 as a penalty for being an idiot db.
  11. Ever since I got season tickets the atmosphere is 100% better than getting cheap seats wherever I could find them. You sit with (mostly) the same people every game and you bond. Most of those "I'm gonna get as drunk as possible" people or the "I'm gonna start a fight with a fan of the other team" people are not near us at all. And being in the lower bowl I love my seats. I'm not behind glass, the people around me care about the game We respect each other and don't put up with any of that extra-curricular BS.
  12. Hamilton is my wife's alma mater and she's very involved in alumni affairs. What's interesting is that Bon Jovi is supposed to be playing a benefit show for the college in NYC in a couple of weeks.
  13. So sorry to hear this Glenn. Hard as it was, you did the right thing.
  14. I believe Gabriel Iglesias put it best... "Oh, HELL no!"
  15. She needs to smile more.
  16. I'm gonna guess 58k. There will be more people there but many will be so intoxicated by kickoff that they won't make it in. I was able to sell my other seat to my season ticket neighbor, for face value, so I'm happy.
  17. I was worried this was about Kurt Warner's wife.
  18. They were so good.
  19. I'm talking a very specific skill set here. Brandon Jacobs/Maurice Jones-Drew type guy. Big, low, powerful, and able to get 2-3 yards on his own if he has to.
  20. Relating the Blizzard of '77 to album purchases, I bought Kiss Rock and Roll Over, Pink Floyd Animals, and Ted Nugent Free For All at the brand new Record Theatre just before the event and spent much quality time snowed in listening to them.
  21. IMHO this right here is the key to this team taking the next step. I posted about it a few weeks back - being able to convert short 3rd downs to run the clock and protect a lead even when the other team knows you're going to do it. More and more I'm thinking our next big acquisition (early draft pick or FA) needs to be a power back, not a QB. Not being able to do this puts more pressure on Fitz. These SHOULD NOT ALWAYS BE PASSING DOWNS!
  22. Sounds right. Our last night game win of any kind was 2001 against the Jags in Jacksonville.
