Now that the focus shifts to our coordinators, what are your feelings on which way to go? If he doesn't get hired as a HC this time around, would you take Lovie Smith (as an example) as DC knowing that he'll bolt as soon as possible to take a HC opportunity if one comes along? Would a year or 2 of that experience be OK with you? Or would you prefer a new guy who is unproven at this level but will stay for a while?

At least by scheduling this at 'approximately noon' they recognize that historically they have their collective tecnological thumbs up their asses

Does Kolb's career really need "resurrecting" at this point? The guy just has to stay healthy I think. He lost his job to injury in 2011. Then he took over for Skelton and led the Cards to a 4-1 record until we injured him. He didn't play the rest of the year, and the Cards only won 1 more game.

The boob looks a little enhanced to me. And the person it's attached to looks a little older. That better not be his mom...

KC has alot of nice pieces in place but, similar to us, needs a QB. Their D is in a little better shape than ours. Also like us they play in a division with 1 dominant team who is an aging QB away from joining the pack.

It does seem to penalize the coordinators of wild card teams because those with a bye can at least interview this weekend.

And then there were 6...

They said there was no timetable and that they'd wait til they found the right guy. That's kind of my question - if no hire by then I will assume Wiz, Horton, Lovie, Kelly are not the right guy. I'm not sure of the protocol around actually offering a HC job to a coordinator that's still in the playoffs.

Does that mean we're set on waiting for Mike McCoy?
