  1. I've seen some funny stuff lately, but this week wasn't it. I enjoyed their parody of the Super Bowl power outage, for example. The current Weekend Update guy is quite good. Usually after that it becomes unwatchable. It got there much sooner this week.
  2. His voice isn't nearly that irritating.
  3. Stand-up comic & actor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRGVD-gFuRc&feature=player_embedded NSFW (language)
  4. I had hoped Kevin Hart hosting would have made the show funnier, but alas it was not to be. But the opening sketch, of their Obama impersonator bringing in people to explain various effects of cutbacks, did yield a couple of funny lines: TSA Inspector: "Due to the cutbacks we're requesting that all passengers just take a photo down the front of their pants and text that to us" Border Patrol: "We're just going to let every 10th Mexican run across the border"
  5. James Kelly Shamrock has a ring to it. Or Kelly James. Congrats!

  7. In articles I've ready about Coy, and they all say how much happier she is now. Could the parents be rationalizing their own desire that Coy be a girl? Maybe. Perhaps they indulged the "phase" at first and it turned into more than that. We know that kids gravitate toward and embrace things that make them happy and feel good.
  8. Does he think he and Eric Wood are an effective team? Does he have a family who has lived in Buffalo for 4 years who doesn't want to move? Does he believe the Bills are turning the corner to respectability? Does he feel any personal debt to the team that drafted him? Does he like snow and chicken wings? Does he enjoy yearly trips to Toronto? Having been to almost every stadium does he feel Bills fans are the best in the league?
  9. The surgery is not a required part of transition. Some have it, some don't. The thing is that gender, sexuality, and "equipment" are 3 distinct and separate things. Most of the time they all line up in the traditional way and for those of us who have that make-up it's is impossible to know how it feels when they don't, let alone when those realizations occur.
  10. The difference being that Nix wasn't GM for any of those. He's publicly stated he wants to draft well, keep good players on the team, and augment with FA. Obviously it takes 2 to tango and Levitre needs to want to stay but I'm sure Nix will do whatever he can to convince him to stay.
  11. I think the philosophy was tag one and negotiate with the other. If true it was much smarter to tag Byrd. As far as the tag price goes, all OL are lumped together so they'd end up paying elite LT money to a guard. I actually see this as a win-win - they buy time with Byrd and can be more aggressive with Levitre.
  12. My sister's opinion piece on this situation: http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/28/opinion/rose-coy-transgender-children/index.html PS - she used to be my brother.
  13. The few training camp sessions I attended he got the ball ALOT - I was sure they were going to put him into the offense more. I never know if that doesn't happen because he wasn't reliable in practices or if they just never put it in the game plan.
  14. Good thing we don't have any of those types around here.
  15. The Sweet Home/Mighty Taco version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VurDoy9SQUI&feature=player_embedded
  16. Yep I swapped flights to go to San Antonio.
  17. I wonder if they'd do back-to-back games in FLA - that would be cool. But without seeing the schedule, New Orleans is top of the list.
  18. On the first one, apparently.
  19. I heard that on WGR and actually did LOL.
  20. Kinda like Andy Reid - good coach but both he and the team need change.
