  1. Only times I watched Geno were against the Orange. He looked absolutely terrible. I am so glad we didn't draft him.
  2. Great post, eBall! I would say that the reason Sheppard was drafted was because Gailey wanted him, so Nix drafted him. I also think Sheppard will turn out to be a good player for the Colts.
  3. Hughes = McCargo Shephard = Still has lots of potential and will play much better for Indy
  4. I actually think there is a good chance FredEx and Choice don't make the team this fall. That big, fast RB from UAlbany looks good on tape.
  5. Tuel seems to have good awareness in the pocket.
  6. I am with the OP. We've seen this all before. During the draft, the better teams were building their lines while we were picking speedy guys for their potential and a projected 3rd round pick as our franchise QB. Insanity is doing the same thing over again (and rooting for the Bills). More Kool Aid please! GO BILLS!
  7. So, lemme get this straight: Sheppard has more tackles in one season than Hughes has in his entire three-year career and 99% of the folks on this board think it was a good trade? Did someone spike the Kool Aid or something?
  8. I thought Shep was gonna turn the corner for us this year. Unfortunately, it will be with a playoff team (not ours).
  9. If that is the case, how did we end up getting him? How come he didn't want to play someplace like Miami or San Diego where he could party all the time? Did he like the Bills coaching staff, or did we offer the most lucrative contract?
  10. I wasn't crazy about the pick of Manuel, but after taking in the draft as a whole (as well as the FA signings afterward) I am buzzing from the Kool Aid.
  11. I hope we draft the god of hellfire, Arthur Brown.
  12. That's ridiculous. The Bills were one of the first teams to sign an African American QB.
  13. Here are some interesting takes by the fans who watched Manuel play in college: http://www.tomahawknation.com/2013/4/25/4264734/nfl-draft-2013-ej-manuel-next-level-florida-state Most say he has a fragile psyche and won't be an NFL starter. Great job OBD!!
  14. 2nd Round: Well we usually pick a CB or a RB, so my bet is we take at least one of the two. We desperately need a stud LB, though.
  15. This pick may ultimately be worse than Aaron Maybin in the first round. In a few years Manuel's name will probably be listed on the Sporting News' list of biggest 1st round draft busts right under JaMarcus Russell.
  16. This pick was all about our CEO placating the fans. OBD felt that they needed to pick a QB in the first round. They took their man, but prolly would've been better off picking up a LB and picking any of the weak QB's in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  17. He won't even be as good as Tavaris Jackson. They could've gotten Manuel in the third round if they wanted him.
  18. Exactly! EJ Manual God help us (again).\ I wonder if it is our marketing expert CEO who has been behind all of these Maybin like picks.
  19. Why is it that the Bills always overvalue players and pick guys too early in the first couple of rounds. We've seen it all before with McCargo, Maybin, Losman, Whitner, A. Williams, TJ Graham. OBD just doesn't get it. It is like they are trying to prove that they know something that other teams don't. Look at us; we're the Bills. We are so clever. We are the best evaluators of talent.
  20. EJ Manual God help us (again).
  21. I knew they were gonna pick the worst QB of the lot! EJ Manual God help us (again).
  22. Anyone think the reason the Bills traded their 1st round pick was to save from paying 1st round contract money? We'll get one of the lousy QB's and a CB in the second.
  23. Darned kids with their prank phone calls.
  24. EJ Manual God help us (again).
