  1. If Manuel turns out great, folks will give credit to Whaley. If he turns out to be a bust, folks will say Nix must have been behind the pick.
  2. A move will all come down to the owners and how much more money they want to make. I could see a sharp, conniving guy like Robert Kraft approve a move with the bat of an eye.
  3. If ever there was someone who could inject some life into a losing franchise, Trump would be the one who could do it. More than anyone I can think of, he would also have the ablilty to rejuvinate an entire city. So let's see, for possible contenders to be the new owner of the Bills we have: Trump - Famous billionaire who has owned a pro football team before and wants to keep the team in Buffalo. He also has the thumbs up from local legend Jim Kelly. Bon Jovi - Lead singer of the worst best selling "rock" band of all-time who wants to move the team to Toronto. Pegula - Terrible owner of our other losing franchise. Golisano - Former owner of our other losing franchise. Unknown - More than a good chance they will move the team to another city within the next 7 years, maybe sooner. The fact that people here are complaining about Trump being the new owner of the Bills just blows my mind. I am from Syracuse, and people can be pretty negative and non-forward thinking here (see the new stadium for the Cuse, I-81 debate, etc), but Buffalonians might have them beat ten times over.
  4. If Trump owned the Bills we would go from being considered just another small market team like the Bengals, Chiefs and Jags to being considered a unique, small market team with a big market type of owner. He loves anything New York State, and I could see the Donald try to make Buffalo relevant again in the public consciousness. It could be the best thing to ever happen to the Bills, especially if Jim Kelly gets to chaperone the football side of things.
  5. I think Trump would be an awesome owner. I bet he would seriously compete with Robert Kraft.
  6. What Are The Chances Tony Moeaki Can Make a Comeback? If it is possible that he can make a complete comeback, would it not be foolish to draft a TE in the 1st round?
  7. I believe in him, but I haven't seen too many positives from him yet. He wasn't all that great in college, but he has "potential."
  8. I remember that Williams used to make Greg Paulus look pretty good when he would leap over defenders to snag errant throws. I don't care what the Bucky at the Buffalo News says, the guy can play.
  9. Great pick-up by the Bills. I used to love watching Williams when he played for Cuse. I think we are pretty well set at WR now. I think Barden is going to turn out to be a steal, and Goodwin will show some skills this season if he stays healthy. Go Bills!
  10. I wouldn't mind the Donald as long as he keeps the team in Buffalo. I doubt he would put up with the losing atmosphere that has engendered this team for the last decade and a half.
  11. Carrington stunk. He made a couple nice field goal blocks, but those are about the only good plays I can remember him making. He is likely camp fodder for the Rams. 1 Year contract. I doubt he even makes the team next season.
  12. You can't tell me that Bellicheck isn't still cheating. Boldly cheating. The sad thing is, league officials would rather look away than do something about it.
  13. Byrd's a plantar wart. I barely noticed he was on the field most games. He's definitely no Polamalu. I'm soooo glad the Bills didn't resign him.
  14. I am worried. The last Cheatriots player we signed (Anderson) didn't work out so well outside of the Pats' "system." It doesn't seem like Pats fans care too much whether Spikes leaves or not. They all said he was a liability against the pass. Does anyone know what the story was with him being IR'd last year? Was it because of a real injury, or was it Belichek bending the rules and punishing Spikes for something?
  15. Plus, Levitre stunk last season. It was soooo smart of the Bills not to sign him for big dollars. I can't believe Bills fans are still disgruntled that we didn't sign him.
  16. What an awesome person. Kelly has given so much joy to others in his life, and he truly appreciates the love given to him from Bills fans.
  17. It would be funny if Byrd signed for bid dollars with a bad team and then went out and played like he did his second or third seasons with the Bills. Fans of his new team are gonna be mightily disappointed.
  18. I think he is really talented. I don't know if he would be a Jim Kelly-like franchise QB, but I could see him being pretty successful like Doug Flutie.
  19. The whole game, it seemed like the Bills were destined to win. Their drives just kept getting stalled for some reason or another. That final drive, though, things finally seemed to click. A Bills win was about to happen, and then...it did not. Wide Right. Most of this teams's games have been like that ever since. Heartbreaking!
  20. Might as well keep him if that's the case. He couldn't have played worse than Pvt. Checkdown, and he is no less injury prone. My guess is that Thad does most of the quarterbacking for the ills next season anyway.
  21. Oh well, I never thought Pettine was that great anyway. He looks like a football coach with his bald head and fierce scowl, though. His players got some gaudy stats last season at the expense of giving up too many big plays. The better coaches were able to exploit this weakness, and were able to tear apart our defense in many games.
  22. Wow, from the early returns it looks like Cleveland is going to be better than Buffalo.
  23. Exactly why do you think the price of pork bellies is going to keep going down, Mr. Weo?
  24. The Bills have signed a lot of scrubs since the end of the season. Is this typical for all teams, or is this something sort of unique to the Bills in 2014?
