How do you know that the Trust won't sell the team to anyone? Frankly, I'd like to see how it is worded in print. I don't trust anything that has to do with JP Morgan Chase. The Morgans and Rockefellers caused more harm in the world than any other entity on the face of the earth. Elites such as the Wilson ladies and the bankers at Morgan Stanley don't give a hoot about Buffalo or Bills fans. Might makes right and whomever has the most money has the might. The bidder who coughs up the most money or proposes to bilk the most financing for a new stadium will get to do whatever they want.

On behalf of the Trust of Ralph C. Wilson, Morgan Stanley would like to welcome the LA Bandits to the NFL.

I don't understand the "hate" for Hogan. The Bills may have discovered a gem who has yet to have a full chance to prove himself. If you look at the situation with Woods lining up with the 2's and 3's during the preseason game and during practice it becomes "obvious" that Marrone is trying to light a match under Robert Woods' a$$. It is very Bill Belichick like. At least Marrone is doing this during the preseason and not having to do it during the regular season (we hope). If there is any "hate" by fans it should be directed toward Robert Woods' work ethic since the Bills invested a 2nd round pick on him. HCDM sees that he may not live up to his draft ranking if he doesn't get his act together now rather than later. We have a young QB who is a work in progress, and it is absolutely vital that the WR's live up to their potential.

1. They are in the same division as the Cheatriots. 2. Bad offensive lines. 3. Poor quarterback play since 1999 except for one good year by Drew Bledsoe.

From what I have heard, Hogan looks as good as Woods.

Hogan and Graham are both still honing their skills. One was a lacrosse player and the other competed in track. They both have lots of upside. It sounds like Hogan has improved a lot from last year, while Graham still needs to get better at focussing on the ball while it is in the air. A lot of people don't like Graham because the Bills traded up for a developmental prospect (he was a projected 5th rounder) and used a 3rd round pick on him. I think both can develop into quality wideouts, and I hope the Bills keep letting them develop. I would really hate to see either of them become stars on another team.

Who is your Surprise cut to get to the 53 man roster?

TJ Graham is done. What a wasted pick. -
Bills officially for sale - let the bidding begin!
Storm Front replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does anyone know who is actually reviewing the bids and whether the winner will be determined solely on cost? Has anyone actually seen the procurement document? JP Morgan finances governments and wars. I am skeptical that they give a hoot about keeping the team in Buffalo unless it is the most all-around lucrative bid. Also, would Canadian tax payers (or California, London, etc) be responsible for funding a new stadium if the winning bidder moved the Bills there? That could play into it.. would love to see the bids! -
Bon Jovi does seem to have an in with Kraft and Goddell. I would say his chances of owning the Bills are better than anyone's. Especially since Kraft has stated that he wants to expand the reach of the NFL into foreign countries. Don't kid yourselves folks, it's all about the dollars with the majority of NFL owners. They don't give a rats a$$ where the Bills are located. Luxury boxe$, corporate sponsorship$, and lucrative TV deal$ are what they crave most.

Less men will want to watch the game. That's part of the reason why they don't have them yet in most pro sports. Ever notice how a conversation with a group of men changes once a woman comes around?
-
Here's what's gonna make less American men watch the game in the very near future: 1. Outrageous ticket prices. 2. More restrictions on tailgating/drinking in the stadium. 3. Foreign teams. 4. Less quaity players due to less kids playing the sport in high school. 5. Less contact. 6. Coed refs.

This guy is like the Dictator of the NFL. He seems to run everything.

How Often Do Players Get Paid?
Storm Front replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if players think about the tax ramifications of signing with a team in NYS as opposed to Fla? If so, it is sort of not fair that our salary cap is the same as Tampa's or Miami's cap. I also wonder if Jets and Giants players have to pay New York State and New York City taxes or just pay New Jersey taxes (which would probably be a lot cheaper)? -
How Often Do Players Get Paid?
Storm Front replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks guys. Do you think the players get compensated during the off-season? I mean, what about the players like Ramses Barden and Denis Dixon who get signed after the end of the season, but might get cut during training camp. Do they get paid a percentage of their contract? -
I was wondering if NFL players get paid weekly or bi-weekly even during the off-season? Say, for example, that a Free Agent signs a two yr. contract for $2 million dollars in the winter. Does he get paid all spring and summer until he gets cut?

Belichick caught cheating again?
Storm Front replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish a journalist would sit down and have a talk with Brandon Spikes about Bellicheat. Might make for a good article as he stated that there was nothing wrong with him yet was placed on the injury list.
