  1. Anyone know Sammy's status yet? I heard somewhere that he might be out 4-6 weeks.
  2. I heard that Edwards guy might be good if he can shake off the effects of a bad concussion he suffered. Jk..Jk..
  3. The thing with the Bills is that you never quite know how they are going to lose the game. Their methods can be totally unpredictable.
  4. Harley probably gets another look on the PS.
  5. I am willing to bet that Goodwin and Boobie wish they were on their way out of B'lo right now. These guys are now going to be the fans' whipping boys. If they thought the booing they heard was bad during the preseason, wait until one of them drops a pass or runs for negative yardage during the regular season.
  6. Is it possible to change the losing culture of this team? If so, who do you think would be capable of doing it?
  7. Without Russ, the Bills may have left town already. Marrone only has one year under his belt. He is going to be a good coach, whether it is here or someplace else.
  8. Stevie may get cut, but someone would end up picking him up. I bet his improvised route running would coalesce well with Tom Brady. Boy, if that medicine wouldn't be tough to swallow.
  9. Oh. I thought he made a comment about 20 days, and then it was reported in the media that he said 21 days after another skirmish. I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that was the reason Marrone was staring him down whilst he ranted.
  10. No, he said something about 20 days in pads yesterday.
  11. Hat's off to Marrone. The loser mentality on this team needs to end. If they have to practice more than in years past, then so be it. People's careers are on the line, and this team has truly stunk it up the last 14 seasons. Fans are sick of losing. Belicheat wouldn't put up with the whining, why should Marrone? Yes he was complaining. He was quoted in the media yesterday as saying that the team had been wearing the pads too many days and that's why there were skirmishes.
  12. I do not trust Morgan Stanley at all. Most here seem to think that Pegs is going to obtain the team as a foregone conclusion. There is a lot of money at stake, now and in the future. The banks, which stand to finance the purchase of the team, a new stadium and other lucrative ancilliaries and the billionaire owners who have stakes in the profits are interested in putting our team in a more profitable location, whether or not we like it. I am loathe to say "wait and see."
  13. Bills potentially moving out Buffalo. Unproven starting QB (#1 Draft Pick) who hasn't shown any encouraging signs of being a great QB. Failure to sign a decent back-up QB (again). Loss of leading tackler to injury. Gave up #1 Pick next year. Can't think of one truly positive thing the team did during the offseason to better themselves. Season over again in a couple months...maybe October? This team stinks. Why do we keep watching them religiously? Why can't I stop following them? Why do we hold out hope year after year?
  14. I voted to party with both of them first. I hope the best for Johnny Football and the Cleveland Browns. If he is successful, he could spark a renaissance in that town. If he flops, he's just another in their long line of busts. That said, I hope the best for EJ as well. They are two different QB's fostering hope for two long suffering organizations.
  15. There is no way to get around the damage done by the St. Lawrence Seaway.
  16. It seems like part of the reason we let talented players go so often is that we have so much coaching and GM turnover. The new guy always wants his own, hand-picked players to fit his schemes. By the time he assembles them, he gets fired for poor performance. Jauron and Levy wanted Marshawn Lynch. Chan and Buddy wanted CJ Spiller. Now Marrone and Whaley seem to want a bruiser like Bryce Brown. We are constantly acquiring the same needs over and over again, especially RB's and players in the secondary at the expense of the offensive and defensive lines. It's the old saying, wash, rinse, repeat.
  17. I have to say, this would be such a typical Bills move that it truly wouldn't surprise anyone.
  18. I think the Bills will do it for either a capable QB, a 1st Rd. pick next year, or even a 2nd round pick next year. The current regime hasn't been able to utilize Spiller like Chan did. They don't seem to want to try, either. Jackson and Brown are the types of RB's Hackett wants to scheme around. Maybe they are afraid they will either have to pony up big dollars to keep Spiller after this season, or they are worried that he might lose his trade value if he has another sub-par year statistically speaking.
  19. I'm never the first to cast stones or call folks names.. You have called me a sock puppet, argumentative and a troll all because I have a different view than yours and 95% of the rest of our fellow Bills fan! I really must say that I think you are a sock puppet. Are you a member who was once banned? Oftentimes a cat will call the kettle black? Now that there are more than three bidders, the team is more vulnerable to being sold. How could it not be? What evidence is there to support a claim that it isn't?? You're almost up to 10 posts in just one thread. Patience, my young apprentice.
  20. Whose position did I support that was untenable, unsupportable and unpopular with no basis in fact? For someone who claims they don't have time to post, you seem to be well-versed in how to do it, as well as internet slang!
  21. Um, yeah, I know. I have over 400 posts here, and you have less than 10. Who is the sock puppet?
  22. I sense a scarecrow, i.e. a strawman
