I feel confident we would be no worse than 7-9 with EJ. Go through the schedule and see what games we would have won and lost with him qll season. I did a month or so ago and i came up with 7-9 for EJ and 8-8 for orton. Not tryin to jump your discussion, its just what i have been thinkin

I love the dont hurt EJ's confidence arguement. What the hell? Hes a man playing pro football. If he goes out there and stinks it up and gets his fragile confidence ruined then screw him! Get him off my team! It was ridiculous to make the switch in the first place. A weak coach trying to make good for his new boss. The descision was transparent when he first did it, and its just gross that hes sticking with Rubber arm Orton. Marrone made his own bed on this one.

These threads are getting painful. Our entire offensive unit has been a disorganized mess this entire year. Buckets of blame to go around. Things really went pear shaped when they benched EJ and the staff seemingly gave up on him. Orton had a couple of not terrible games, so everyone hopped on the EJ just sux bus. Good staffs get the most out of their players, through preparation and game plan. Then when the players start beliving they play for each other. Not this second guessing, its his fault, no your fault no his fault crap.

I dont think either one would be as successful in Buffalo as they have been on their respective teams. I think Luck would still get the hype here that hes gotten, but think about Luck as a Bill facing Tom Brady twice a season. Wilson would not have gotten the hype had he been drafted here, and i cant honestly say i think his carreer would be going quite as swimmingly as it has as a Bill. Theyre both in the first quarter of their carreers and clearly Wilson has an advantage b/c of the team hes on. Coaching and surrounding talent. I think Wilson will end up with the better carreer, i think Wilson has far more advantages than Luck also. Id take Luck

I like Eric Wood. He seems cool. I hope we draft a center with our 1st pic this year. I think one of the two top rated centers coming out of college will be available to us in the 2nd round.

Theyre brand new owners and very successful business people. I dont think we will hear much from them for a bit, til a full evaluation of the team and organization can be made. Hell, i bet Terry hasnt even gotten all his pictures up on his office wall yet.

Spiller would be nuts to come back here next season. This team as it is just dosent suit him. Im afraid were gonna be following the rest of his career from afar. I dont think hes going to get near 4 million on the open market either. But i do think hes looking to book from Buffalo as fast as he can.

Im thinking this coaching staff is ruining more than a couple guys on the roster. Watch the teams going into the playoffs, those coaches are maximizing their players potential. CJ hasnt been in the league as long as he has because he flat out sucks, like alot of people on here say. Same with.... Eh, forget it

I dont know what it meant either im just aggrevated. I was ok with Marrone til we lost to an inferior opponent, so now what? How can we keep this staff? The whole giving up on EJ thing pisses me off, it did then and even more so now. And after seemingly giving up on other players as well, right now i blame the coaching staff for not getting the most out of guys that i view as having talent.

Considering the circumstances of last nights game, what Arizona had to deal with and what they have done this season, id take Arians and this roster. EJ starting and id have a hell of alot more confidence going into the teeth of the vaunted Black Hole than i do with Orton and Marrone. And yes, i agree with the put it to rest part because all these what if this, what if that scenarios are ridiculous. We have what we have and must deal with it. Now, im gonna root for the Bills no matter what cuz theyre our team and theyre stayin! And id expect youll do the same. Marrone/Hack just dont seem to have a grasp on NFL offensive coaching. Watching Seattle v Arizona, two well coached teams and they just look so crisp, so fast. Theyre talent level isnt that much higher than the Bills, its gotta be coaching. A great coach would get stuff out of Manuel. Bet Arians would kill for Manuel right now.

Would be interesting to see what Gailey could do with Manuel.
