IK "Lights Out" Enemkpali
-
Sorry Rockinon, ive been on a posting marathon lately. Didnt mean to be rude. What i heard Sal say this afternoon is this: That with the 1's its been Cassel, Tyrod, Cassel, Tyrod, Cassel, Tyrod, EJ. He also said, its possible that EJ will get more now that the practices are closed and back at One Bills Drive, but he just dosent see EJ getting the work with the ones. "Reading the tea leaves" is a phrase they have been using to describe trying to figure out the starter on WGR, and alot of people have been kinda making fun of that phrase last few days, so thats why i threw it in there. Like i said, didnt mean no disrespect.
-
If it was my call, id start EJ. Im just "readin the tea leaves" man
-
That is not accurate but im not gonna bother trying to disprove you. Look it up yourself
-
I dont think its IK gettin into bad situations, i think its the people that mess with him that are put in the bad situation! Man, cant wait to get this season started!!
-
And i didnt even read the article, but to this i can only say... WTF!
-
Oh no! A professional linebacker that hits people!! Oh my!

EJ Manuel: "I love it here and want to stay here"
TSOL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best time of the year to be a Bills fan, bromide!! I mean whats more fun than a sunday afternoom with 70,000 of your closest friends! Man, Rex better not eff this up!! Cheers -
Yeah hes gonna have to be absolutly lights out to get the nod, which of course, i feel is possible. But, from the training camp report i heard from Sal today, justseems unlikely today. Rex is a guy that once he picks his man, thats it, he sticks by him. which is, i think, why Tyrod is so strong in the mix. I think he is just Rex's guy. Like How he stood by Sanchez so strong. We shall see if that type of allegiance is smart. And its not that i dont like Tyrod, i do, he just scares tge bejeepers outta me.

EJ is simply not getting many reps in practice, hes not gonna be starter week 1 this year.

EJ Manuel: "I love it here and want to stay here"

Everyones entitled to their opinion, gotta give respect to standing by ones convictions. If the Bills make some hay and start winning this year were all gonna be dancin' in the streets no matter who the starting QB is. -
Enough incoherence/whining from WGR re: EJ

An entire segment of The Schoop uncharacteristclly talking football. Sounded forced. -

Is there a way I could send you a round of pizza logs for your trouble?

Excellent! He's a pocket passed with a big arm. Which is what it takes to win it all. Young group of skilled receivers and a young QB, that NEED to develop chemistry and timeing to grow together. Improved accuracy and pocket awareness He's a Bill! Protypical size Gaining time in the league which should help him grasp defensive scheming Much higher ceiling than the other two guys Fan support, despite the detractors people are still enamored with the guy High character guy that would be good for the NFL in general, with the type of charators we've seen lately He's a number one draft pic! He's gotta see significant playing time on the field eventually. EJ has got to get his shot. Why wait, it makes no sense. To the coaches, regarding Cassel being the safe bet, no risk, no reward To the possibility of starting Tyrod, who wants their QB scrambling in the red zone, there's some big, fast, mean linebackers and safeties in this leauge.

Yeah I had to read it like five times to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me. You gonna be OK when EJ throws for two more touchdowns on Saturday? -

The article lost me when EJ is quoted as saying he started to cry. -

Oh, I fully understand what you're doing, don't pretend it wasn't transparent to anyone w a half a brain. Its unbearably odvious and you acting like you're smarter than everyone is even less bearable. We haven't had a WGR thread, so we were due. Don't act like that's exactly what you were thinking when you wrote it. And yeah, asshat Scoop needs to be kept in check, so I give you credit for that, and believe it or not, the work you put in the op. But 10 , mins, my butt! Once again, good topic, good debate, on anything that's not " EJ sucks, he hit a cameraman in practice" "no he don't he threw a touchdown" that crap is tiresome. And here we are, your topic at the top of the list, with post views doing nothing but going up and up. And one more thing, your next move is very predictable, so... Say what we all know you want to say next -

Was pretty odvious yesterday when I saw this thread what you were doing, OC. You were baiting people to jump all over WGR. It's not a very hard thing to do, as most people on this board already dispise Scoop and to a lesser extent Lapdog. That's a main reason I didn't jump in until the heavy EJ whining took place. What the hell, bashing WGR, is an immensely popular thing to do, and who doesn't love a good old fashioned ride on the bandwagon train once in awhile. So the thread was a little bit like fishing with dynamite. I'm just aggrevated that the legit thread I started for predictions, at roughly the same time, got like 150 views while yours got, what, 4800, I think you said. So congratulations for that. Just know, that not everyone fell for it, and please, don't break your arm patting yourself on the back, self congratulations is so unbecoming. All good natured ribbing aside, it is a pretty nice thought provoking topic, refreshing for me to get away from the typical mud slinging of the supporters vs. the detractors. Because, god, I'm so EJ'ed out at this point. -

I have no clue, hes a pocket passer with an arm, thats my draw to him. Schoop, about 25 mins ago did refer to yesterdays show as being a disaster, and i did hear about 30 mins of the show yesterday and it was, it was an unmitigated disaester. Tho OP did bring up some great points, even though it read like a college thesis, and i fell asleep halfway through it. I did finsh the other half though, after i woke up and made a pot of coffee
