  1. The Byrdman, and the money, have flown the coop. If there an obscure contact clause saying otherwise, that's exactly what it is, obscure. I'm no lawyer, I'm not an expert in the finer points of sports contract technicalities. My guess would be that it would be quite a legal proceeding to get the Byrdman to give back the money, unless he's just, Saintly. Pun intended.
  2. I don't know what these other guys reasons are, but I've been waiting for 3 years now to see what He can do. He just keeps getting the proverbial stiff-arm from the organization. And your analogy is gross... Cream rise... Yuck
  3. Lovely story, Mark Twain, but its a SIGNING BONUS! It's for signing his contract, not for playing. His salary is for playing, so by your twisted logic, that's what he should give back. Which he shouldn't do, and won't ever do, and no court of law in the Good Ole US of A would ever even attempt to make him do. But carry on...
  4. Based on watching EJ play for the last three years, watching his progression, he's due for a breakout year, once he gets the chance to play. Saying he wasn't slingin it like a gunslinger in this preseason is is simply untrue. He's taking snaps and making quick decisions like a real NFL QB. He has the arm and the athleticism and smarts to make some huge plays. If given similar starts I have no doubt he would throw more TD's than Matt Cassel as an NFL QB. Whether he gets that opportunity here in Buffalo depends on how good Tyrod is. But I fully expect him to get a chance to start at some point in his career. EJ's career stats to this point are nothing to sneeze at, no matter how many people say how bad he was in the Houston and San Diego game.
  5. So is it on top of the 16 TD's he already has? Or 96 more? Cuz Cassel only had 2TD's in his first three years in the league
  6. Mitch Morse would have been cool. Ali Marpet would have been cool. Laken Tomlinson would may have been worth trying to move up for. Honestly, if I were the Bills I think I'd have drafted all O Linemen for the last 10 years. I strongly believe in the idea that big men win football games. And maybe would have given that first round QB we have, what's his name again, may have given him a better start to his career. It's more than well documented the impact of a great LT is to an offense, and a QB's performance. But interior linemen, and synergy between a center and a QB can be so key to a potent offense. The running game, and just scoring points, which is all we want to see. I'd love to see the Blls average 27-28 points a game, someday. Last year was murder...
  7. OK, someone is having way too much fun with this. It's been edited again. Gabe Ikard (pronounced eye-curd;[needs IPA] born September 26, 1990) is an American football center who is currently playing for the Buffalo Bills, the greatest team in the history of the NFL, who saved the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders franchises from going bankrupt. He played college football at Oklahoma.
  8. This here is the current headline on the page. Gabe Ikard (pronounced eye-curd;[needs IPA] born September 26, 1990) is an American football center who is currently on the Bills and Brady is god. He played college football at Oklahoma.
  9. So the season starts this week, right, with none other than the Patriots on Thursday night. Nobody has mentioned the fact that right off the bat, we get to play the Pats after they have an extra long week to prepare. Love how the schedule makers always hand them the slightest advantage against us. They didn't stick us with them after their bi-week this year, but they sure did do the next best thing.
  10. No not you, man,I was quoting Rob quoting you. Rob gave me wiked crap last season for calling EJ "the kid"
  11. I don't think he is a real good guy, if what I heard is true, I hope he goes to jail. Athletes, wealthy people, influential people, can't keep getting away with this stuff. If I had done what I heard he did, I'd be in jail already.
  12. I don't want to spread rumors on here. I don't know her name but I know it was leaked on twitter. I heard some details from a local source the other day, combined with some of the reports out of Chicago that are linked in this thread, sounds like he went over the top with her. And she doesn't want to settle out of court, she wants to prosecute.
  13. Was about five paragraphs in. I stopped reading it after I saw that. He got my click though. You gave me wicked crap last year for calling him "the kid".I stopped.
  14. From Jerry Sullivan's article today "Fans are excited about Taylor because they’re desperate for anything resembling a franchise QB. If he’s good, it alleviates the need to find one in the draft, while softening the embarrassment of investing so much in Manuel and having him not pan out."
  15. Pointless as it may be, the messenger is almost always shot.
  16. I know its not real metal, I just like the show. I'm getting too old to keep up with all these categories of music nowadays.
  17. Someone could also sneak into their locker room and spray WD-40 on the bottom of their cleats.
  18. This is such a novelty thread
  19. Oh there's rumors, and her name and some details have leaked on twitter. No one want to talk much about it cause its such a sensitive topic though. But it sounds like, from what I've heard, he's going to jail.
  20. That is the best choice for most reliable service. Great choice. NFL Mobile for free on there too!
  21. Our summers are pretty nice in WNY. Dosent get too crazy hot. The lake is like a giant swamp cooler, if any of you guys are familiar with those.
