I think some programs needed cutting in the public secter. I don't know if anyone saw it in the Buffalo News but Bass Pro was inked today. I hope a real waterfront development helps Buffalo. Is it unfair to be cut in favor of someone who has no experience? Well if you play like the guy who has no experience I think the answer would be yes. He didn't play like a 12 year vet most of the time. It seems very hard for some including Drew to face facts. He failed. Time and Time again he made critical errors at critical times and embarrassed coaches, fans, and media the last game. It should be no "shock" to anyone. The media in Buffalo believe it or not is not as bad as some other cities. Drew is class guy but why is he "shocked" and "angry?". That's a pathetic comment to me anyway.

To be honest I just read it also and some of the comments I'm surprised about. He said He was "shocked" and that he never "Saw it coming" Note to Drew: Look at your won loss record, who and when you lost those games and was a decision you made during the game so bad that it was to much to overcome as a team, and also look at your passer rating. The other thing was why does he have to throw sour grapes at JP? When asked a couple of times if he thought JP had what it takes he ignored the question as to say everything but a flat "no." A large ego just crashed in Buffalo. Their seems to be some immature jealousy in a guy who I rooted for.

Agreed. Give the guy a chance. Let him take some snaps as a starter before proclaimimg him a bust. He may turn out to be a very good QB or he may not but one thing is for certain the coaches feel he is going to be a good one and that's good enough for me.

Very well said. I think a lot of head coaches and GM's try to follow the leader too much in the offseason when the fact is year after year the team that proves to be the best is the team with a coach that follows his own creative path.

I have to wonder why Drew was never the type of player to work and prepare like some of his compitition. He gave 100% on game day, but to me he was not someone who wanted to win real bad. Did he feel he was already heading off to be a HOFER or was family time just more important? Not that family is a bad reason but his lack of focus and desire is what is moving him on to his 3rd team in 4 years.

You can put some blame on unions for what Buffalo is going through right now. In most cases unions are a bad thing. MOST cases.

I'm telling you everytime he gets behind center all I can think of is "Punt!" That way he doesn't throw a costly pick or fumble at critical times. Then the defense gets to score.

We'll see how much it will take to re-sign him and go from there. I wouldn't mind him staying but if their's someone else out there that is proven for the same or a little more amount of money(Which will be a lot) it has to be considered. I thought he was a great pick when the Bills grabbed him but boy how wrong I was. He looked great at LSU but, that shows what a big jump that is from college to Pro. I agree. He needs to go.
