  1. I just watched parts of the 1975 semi-finals game when McAdoo scored 50 points and the Braves won and tied the series against the Bullets. The Bullets went on two win the series in 7 games and sadly big Bob and the team were gone 2 years later but I'm so happy I got that on ECL. I can still here Van Miller (who broadcast the games before going to the Bills when the Braves left) say "Two for McAdoo!" It kind of gave me a chill especially knowing that I was an 11 year old kid at that game and remembering how excited myself, Dad and brother were at that game.
  2. Again it will cost us plenty this season as it did the first half of last year. I'm still very concerned about the O-line. Even if Mike Williams is primed for a good year I don't see how in the hell they give a 1st year QB a left tackle like Gandy or Teague for that matter.
  3. I just don't feel comfortable with Gandy or Pucillo with a 1st year QB in there. It's JMO. I think Verba is an upgrade but how much does he want is the question. Nice talking with you VA.
  4. Yeah, lets go with Mike Gandy as the most important link on the offensive line
  5. It's kind of funny isn't it that both the Sabres and Bills look so much better in their old unis. Someone once said "If it aint broke don't fix it." I would love to see them go back to their old unis.
  6. Verba would be better than Gandy. If Gandy is starting left tackle JP will always be running and we'll never get the chance to see how well he throws down field. Somehow, someway, the Bills manage to ignore the offensive line every year even though everyone else in the league knows it's the worst aspect of the team
  7. I love the new throwback Unis and I hope TD & Co. at least consider keeping them as the permanant replacements for what we have now. If players prefer a uniform wouldn't that make sense to keep them. I mean hey looking good and playing good should go hand & hand right? I remember a couple years back the Bills players saying they liked the blue on blue and sure enough they started wearing them more. Would the Bills have to wait a year if they decided to make it a permanent change and if so then does anyone know how many games would they be allowed to wear the throwbacks this year?
  8. I agree he won't get much more than what the Browns are offering. If we would agree to a 1 year deal with the Bills it would allow him time to wait and see what the free agent market will be in 2006. I would like it if the Bills would at least talk to him about being a Bill and what would be expected of him.
  9. Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner folks
  10. THose are real sharp. I hope they wear them more than a couple times this year.
  11. I guess it's how you look at it. JMO.
  12. Disagree. They won the AFL title and that was a league of it's own. The 90's team were great also but they did not come in first place in their league
  13. The 1964 and 1965 teams are the only true championships the Bills had and they were wearing the white helmets.
  14. I like the red jersey also but I think it looked much better with the old color of blue (before the switch in 2002)
  15. I'm sorry if I'm over excited but those are saaaaaweeeeeeeet! The lighter blue with the old white helmets look awesome. Please oh please Tom keep them. I'm a little surprised at our poll. Maybe I'm getting old.
  16. NFL network programming leaves somrthing to be desired. Their's nothing worse than listening Rich Eisen throw softball questions and kissing up to players on NFL Access zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. BTW has anyone seen the Bills in 1 NFL Game of the Week in 2005?
  17. I never thought that girl was good looking and that stupid smile.
  18. I'll be getting one of those jerseys. They look awesome. The Bills old school red Buffalo commitee
  19. Bring back the standing Buffalo. I love it.
  20. It's sweet. On the inside it's lined with an NFL emplem with the word "Throwback Buffalo Bills." On the front it has a red standing Buffalo and a big Buffalo on the back and the year 1965. Man, I was so jealous when he got it. My Dad's great. I can't wait to wear it come football season.
  21. OK, I think you meant "some therapy" but I really don't get it. I need therapy because my Dad drinks a lot but has a big heart? It should be no big deal to most folks to say that.
  22. Not sure if that was a joke LA but if it was it made me laugh. It's a throwback jacket that he got as new a few years ago that he never wears. With him being a Bills fan I'm know wondering why he doesn't wear it. Maybe at 67 he thinks it's to young looking? Later Bills brother
  23. I was helping my Dad move somethings today in his new house and he gave me a real nice 1965 throwback jacket. He said he never wore it. I remember when his girlfriends son gave it to him for X-mas a few years back I was jealous. It has the old red standing Buffalo (which I wish they would return to) in front and on back and it has 1965 on the back also. It's like a high-school type of jacket with brown leather on the sleeves and blue cotton. It was worth helping him. My Dad drinks to much but he's hot a big heart.
  24. The Bills seemed to reach the endzone more when it was colored red.
  25. He's lost it. The NFC had Rice. The AFC had Reed. His numbers alone are enough.
