Who makes the personel decisions on draft day? Who makes decisions on talent? Who decides which players come and which players go? Who decides who is worth fitting under the cap and who isn't? A GM is the one who puts the players on the field that will either make or brake a team each and every year. A GM is the number 1 individual responsible for building a team and he's had 5 years to get us at least 1 playoff game. Is he the only one? No, but right now if you had to name someone who is most responsible he's No 1. Does that answer your question?

It took some longer than others but welcome to reality. How long do you give a GM a chance to turn it around. He had his oppurtunity and has failed so I hope Ralph decides to move on but I don't know.

To me it's really quite simple. We lost Pat Williams to FA and we broght in no PROVEN replacement. They thought MAYBE Ron Edwards could get the job done, but he was a good replacement not starter. Big mistake. If you lose a proven veteran like Pat you better be darn sure you have a proven replacement. On top of that losing Spikes really hurt. You also have over rated players like Clements on defense. A similar situation on offense. It all starts with line play and TD ignored the loss of JJ on a line that was already bad, instead he went after more skill players which is not how you build a team. Just pathetic.

I've always liked Rivers and was sad when we didn't get him and would love to see him in Buffalo. JMO but I think given the chance he will be a great QB but TD will never make that trade.

C,mon now after all the great offensive and defensive lineman he has brought to this club and if you want to discount him there his record in Buffalo alone proves his worth. I can't believe some fans just don't see all the positives he's brought. Some of you guys are just crybaby's. Be real fans grow up and accept mediocrity!

Sorry, but that kind of talk usually will back firer on a player. He needs to shut up and play. I can remember well when Bruce Smith and Thurman would start with their "I'm the best" whining and crying only to go out the next week and forget your helmet. It's a ploy for $$. Just like when Bruce (Who was always crying for more money)said stuff like that it's sending a message to the GM that I'm the best at my position so your going to have to pay me the highest.

That's true John and TD has done a pretty good job at finding quality draft picks at skill positions even if they don't start from day one their rookie year, but his refusal to draft and sign quality lineman will probably cost us missing the playoffs for the 6th straight year.

Yeah, that's just what we need another RB. With running backs gaining 100's of yards threw our swiss cheese defensive line and our Offensive line that shows up every other week TD is a sure bet to sign him! Get er done TD

Check out the blocking by the recievers that don't have the ball on each TD pass...Aiken gives a nice block for Smith and then Lee Evans gets Moulds in the endzone.

He wasn't "Running his mouth." He was just being honest that JP just wasn't reading the defense and over throwing the ball. He did what a leader needs to do to win sometimes and that's being honest even if someone may get their feelings hurt. The claim that he tries harder with Kelly is complete garbage. If he doesn't get the ball he can't make a play. You see having someone to get you the ball in stride is essential to making a play!

Terrence Mcgee. He's the best in the league at kick returner and I think he's become a better corner than Nate. There I said it.

Wow, now that is refreshing to hear on this board, Not easy to do. I don't think we would have beat the Fins or Jets with JP so MM made the right call. I'm not saying Kelly is so much better but fact is he gives us a much better chance of winning. In a way I wanted JP to stay in there till the end but he just looked so bad and I'm sick of losing. If and when we are out of the playoff race I'd expect to see more JP. Nice post Nick.

Sorry if I'm not as intellegent as you but to me you named 11 players that in your mind addressed the offensive line, meaning we now have good lineman which is a joke I hope. TD in large degree has NOT addressed the offensive line. He found players that couldn't make it on their perspective teams thats all! I really like the kid and to be honest with you from what I've seen so far he has been more effective than Chris V. This line still has a long way to go before it can be called "Good." It should have been done a long time ago. You see that's how most teams work. They find a glaring weakness and address it in the draft or free agency but not TD. Oh BTW for those who sarcastically say "TD Sucks" your finally seeing the light after drifting in mediocrity and no playoffs for 6 fugin years.
