The CBS crew said that he was taken out and Anderson was put in but they didn't say he was hurt. It sounds like he didn't do well. I keyed on him a couple of times and he was getting beat.

That's all well and good but the bottom line is can JP get the ball in his recievers hands and he's proven that he cannot. Your right he does have a better arm and is more mobile but if he cannot connect it's worthless. I hope I'm wrong.

What amazes me is that people are OK missing the playoffs every year and want to pull a QB who has played well all so we can "develop" a player who has proven nothing other than how to lose and have the worst QB stats possible. Does anyone have a clue if JP will turn out to be a solid QB or do we just waste the talent on this team, another losing season, and all for a QB who probably won't even be the QB in Buffalo's future

GM's are judged by wins and losses and rightfully so. How much longer did you have in mind? I think maybe were being to hard on him because he's only had 5 years to make the playoffs and really that's not enough.

I'm fine with that as long as thier is some talent in the offensive line FA market this year and TD actually gets the right players this time around but I have major doubts on the latter.

See we do this every year and apparently TD reads the board. We all notice how poor our offensive line is but as the year goes on we start noticing other positions of needs and the players that can fill those needs. Our first priority should be the offensive line. I don't care if TD doesn't think it's all that bad. That's half the problem right there. He never thinks it's a problem so he tries to get by with free agents like Anderson. I'm not saying this guy won't be a good DT is this league or that's not a need of this team but IMO the offensive line is as it has been since Kelly left bad. Just plain bad Tom. If we want a young QB to start like JP or whoever we have to make sure they have the protection that will allow them to grow.

We did try to trade up to get him I believe. We gave up way to much to get Losman that's true and what's worse is I just don't know if he'll be the QB your talking about. I hope I'm wrong but we'll have to come back to this post in a couple years. I'll say this he showed me nothing so far. OBTW the two games he "Wasn't allowed to finish" is called "Getting pulled for stinking the joint up."

I'll agree with Pete on this one. I'd like to see Eric stay. He wants to win badly. He's not afraid of what needs to be said and doesn't care about hurt feelings to better the team. Those are the kind of players we need. I thought KH played well Sunday night, now I know he's not the answer but I'm beginning to doubt that JP is either. I'd love to get Phillip Rivers after we take care of our lines. Just some wishful thinking that won't get done with our current GM.

Solid first post! I don't have to do research. I know their coaching staff and their salary cap issues and I can honestly say it doesn't mean a dam thing. It's all potential and that word means nothing in the NFL. The have the same chance as everyone else in the AFC East the next 5 years. Their is no cyrstal ball. Saban can end up being a complete flop in the NFL. He's proven nothing in this league and until the players are put together and play together nobody knows, so you made a stupid first post. Anyone else watching the Miami- New Orleans pathetic game. If you listen to Tasker it seems the Dolphins will be the next dynasty. He said something to the effect and I'm paraphrasing "If your team gets the chance to play Miami this year you better beat them because victories over this club will be hard to come by in the future". Then when speaking of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams he said something like "With both players on this team the offense will make them a monster." Does he know something we don't or should I just chalk it up as another game he announces that makes no sense? A great player but come on get real.

As much as Mike Williams is an unmotivated player he's still our best player on the line which tells you how bad our O-Line really is.

Thank-you! It seems some folks are OK with a GM with horrible record and is clearly ruining the franchise. I believe 6 seasons is plenty long enough to give a GM a chance to make the playoffs. I guess some fans are just happy with mediocrity.

At 29-42 and no playoffs 5 plus years the question is somewhat bizarre. I would take Darcy Reiger at this point. Do you know how to evaluate talent on the offensive and defensive line in college football and FA? Do you know how to select those players? Are you good with numbers? Your in!! I don't care if it's someone from the CFL like Polian just get this idiot out of Buffalo. He's ruining the franchise. I would not fire MM at this point however. It just won't happen, not with this team. I think we go 6-10. I expect big changes. Even if we do win were not going to make the playoffs. I'm sorry I'm being so pessimistic but this is TD's team which limits our success. That's a fact not an opinion.

I don't think that Ralph giving TD a contract extension will prevent the old man from firing TD at the end of a 6-10 season. He may be old but he always knows when the writing is on the wall to make a change and he still wants a ring before he dies.
