Does anyone remember what we gave up for Corneilus Bennett in 1987? Marv and Co gave up our no. 1 in 1988 and 1989 and a 2nd in 1989 and Greg Bell. It worked out pretty good. Now I'm not say Turner is worth a Number 1 but I would be OK with swaping 1st or giving up a second if Marv thinks Turner is a difference maker.

Yeah, I agree. I'm listening to WGR right now and their saying the Bills met Turner at the stadium today so I don't know why everyone assumes he's gone.

I don't think it was all that different. I was still in Buffalo back then and who could forget how much Jim Kelly the playboy said how much he hated Buffalo. He seemed to change his mind pretty quick.

Is it that bad in Buffalo that players are making a choice based on the city? I mean does the city of Buffalo have to be totally rebuilt before we can attract players to coming here again? What did Jim, Thurman, Bruce ...etc do in Buffalo for 10 years? I mean this is getting frustrating. I started thinking about it with the Willis thing but now it really bothers me. I haven't been back in a couple years but theirs still running water right? I've heard some good news about what Buffalo might look like in a couple years but is it so bad right now? I notice a lot of the Sabres players seem to like the city.

Something tells me the Bills are going to make that deal and although your right that it's a bit steep I thing they have their sights set on taking Patrick Willis and want to get the RB position out of the way. I think Turner would be a great addition.
