  1. Isn't this a post from last year? I thought they fixed the board?
  2. In other News Jim Kelly said his knee feels great and he should be ready for training camp.
  3. Yeah, I saw that. I have no clue or why anyone would think Lynch will be gone at 12
  4. If were talking about need then I think Buffalo is definetly the team with the bigger need.
  5. Does anyone remember what we gave up for Corneilus Bennett in 1987? Marv and Co gave up our no. 1 in 1988 and 1989 and a 2nd in 1989 and Greg Bell. It worked out pretty good. Now I'm not say Turner is worth a Number 1 but I would be OK with swaping 1st or giving up a second if Marv thinks Turner is a difference maker.
  6. Its obvious they really want Turner but what do we have to give up? I like Turner a lot. I'm sure the Titans were thrilled to see that plane pulling into the airport.
  7. Great? no. He's a a solid back but I would take Irons in a 2nd round pick over him.
  8. Your probably right buftex but it's a bit confusing.
  9. No, click on twice it says "Yet somehow it did and Turner came and went without so much as a national whisper." I didn't know it was a blog though sorry, but WGR is still reporting it also. Also it was written at 4:25pm. Who knows, I'm confused
  10. It's under "Clips of the day" scrolling at the bottom
  11. Dean, Go to were it has "clips of the day" running threw the bottom of the screen
  12. Then why is the Buffalo Bills website and wgr BOTH reporting Turner was in fact in town today?
  13. Bills website also reporting Turner was in town today.
  14. Yeah, I agree. I'm listening to WGR right now and their saying the Bills met Turner at the stadium today so I don't know why everyone assumes he's gone.
  15. I don't think it was all that different. I was still in Buffalo back then and who could forget how much Jim Kelly the playboy said how much he hated Buffalo. He seemed to change his mind pretty quick.
  16. WGR is reporting the Bills met him at the stadium today???
  17. Is it that bad in Buffalo that players are making a choice based on the city? I mean does the city of Buffalo have to be totally rebuilt before we can attract players to coming here again? What did Jim, Thurman, Bruce ...etc do in Buffalo for 10 years? I mean this is getting frustrating. I started thinking about it with the Willis thing but now it really bothers me. I haven't been back in a couple years but theirs still running water right? I've heard some good news about what Buffalo might look like in a couple years but is it so bad right now? I notice a lot of the Sabres players seem to like the city.
  18. The Buffalo News reported he had "flight issues." Who knows. I think he flew into the Buffalo airport met Marv then asked how far away Toronto is and at that point Marv sent him on a one way flight to Tennesee.
  19. Where did it say the Titans are the front-runners?
  20. My guess is that it will be the Titans or Bills. Turner News The Green Bay Packers aren’t pursuing San Diego Chargers running back Michael Turner, but the Tennessee Titans are making a strong push. Turner’s agent, Bus Cook, said Monday afternoon his client had just left a meeting with the Titans, one of several teams interested in signing or trading for LaDainian Tomlinson’s backup. A restricted free agent, Turner received the highest possible tender from the Chargers — one year, $2.35 million — meaning any team that signs him would owe San Diego first- and third-round draft picks as compensation. But San Diego is believed to be willing to deal Turner for less because he will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2007 season. The Packers need a running back after the departure of Ahman Green, who signed with the Houston Texans. But Cook, who also represents Packers quarterback Brett Favre, said Green Bay has not contacted him about Turner. A fifth-round pick out of Northern Illinois in 2004, Turner has rushed 941 yards and five touchdowns on 157 carries in three NFL seasons.
  21. Something tells me the Bills are going to make that deal and although your right that it's a bit steep I thing they have their sights set on taking Patrick Willis and want to get the RB position out of the way. I think Turner would be a great addition.
