...because it doesn't feel like I have a team to root for any longer:( I sat through every home game in 1984 and most of 1985. This feels very familiar.
No not in today's NFL. You have to bring in free agents and pay them also. Yes you can do the majority of building through the draft if you want to take a decade and be cheap like the Bills.
I would stay away from Pryor. He seems to be a bad attitude guy. I live in Columbus and I've heard plenty about his issues and he seems a bit inconsistant.
New ownership is needed at this point. Ralph doesn't care if we win or lose any longer that's quite obvious. If the guy cares at all about Bills fans he will sell the team to Kelly and Co now.
There's only one cure that will change everything. In 1984 and 1985 I sat through just about every home game. Nobody wants to play for a bad team. In 1986 they signed Kelly and changes started. Look at Green Bay! I mean it's Green Bay, Wisconsin where the sun never shines. It's not exactly a hot spot but they pay players and they WIN!
I couldn't agree more. If Nix really wants to rebuild this team he's going to have to make a trade sooner or later like the other 31 teams in this league have done, why not start with the biggest need position and a team he's familiar with?
To rebuild you need to start bringing talent in other than a draft. I think Buddy hasn't done that. His idea of rebuilding with the draft ONLY will take this team 10 more years of losing. I don't believe it's a policy that will work in today's game.
I know the O-line is bad AGAIN and I'm sure he knows it also, but can you show just a little bit of leadership out there. Just walk back to the huddle with your head down.
