  1. Buffalo's NFL team has provided me with so many great memories... I don't mean 51-3, The Comeback, watching OJ gallop, seeing Joe Montana laid out, Bruce's dances or DT's Spiderman sleeves. I mean hanging out with my brother and father in the parking lot before that late-80s Raiders game that at the time set a record for coldest game. I mean getting the Electric Company's autographs after an open practice at Rich. I mean hanging out before a preseason game in Baltimore with so many TBD/TSW people that we took over the bar. I mean the high-fives - and even the commiserating - with fellow Bills fans at my local Backers club. I couldn't imagine my life without the Bills being a part of it. If they left tomorrow for anywhere other than Toronto, I'd be done with them and the NFL by extension. But I would get over it. After all, I've had myself some fun; and it's not like they owe me anything...
  2. Google James "Shack" Harris and then apologize for characterizing Ralph as intolerant.
  3. Some helpful tips: The first word of a sentence should be capitalized. Consider using either a comma or a period to separate thoughts, ideas, and phrases as there is no such grammatical device as four periods. English should be capitalized as it is a proper noun. To be a complete sentence, a verb is required, i.e., "...language is almost as..." There is no such word as "discusting." Who is "Maybinn?" When attributing ownership to a noun (even a proper noun like "Maybinn"), add an apostrophe and an "s" to denote the genitive/possessive case. End sentences with a period. Did you consider that, given the poster's username, English may not even be his primary language? What's your excuse? Um, he used it correctly.
  4. Ok... but where's the "open mouth, insert foot" part?
  5. Nope, you're not the only one. I wish him well, but I sure won't miss him.
  6. No kidding. It will perfectly reflect your love/hate relationship with depression. For the Frostbelt or whoever the OP is, I'm kind of a "To each his own" type of guy, but since you asked... You should wear long-sleeved shirts in public. They are absolutely ridiculously horrendous. Don't get me wrong, the art is solid, but your decision-making skills suck.
  7. Yes. That must be it, It is basic cause-and-effect. Or maybe only 1 black QB has ever won a Super Bowl because antiquated prejudices such as yours prevented many very capable black athletes from playing the position at the NFL level.
  8. Word. As a resident of Virginia Beach, the home of the Destroyers, I'd be all for it. UFL players could learn a lot from an NFL vet, I'm sure.
  9. I believe the coaches and front office believe he's the best QB on the roster. Admittedly, Fitz may not be Kemp or Kelly, but he's not Losman or Johnson either. We have so many other holes to fill that are below average, I can see why they'd stand pat with average play out of the QB position. Besides, it's not like they ever said Fitz is Canton-bound.
  10. No, it doesn't just help you find a better job. It makes you a better person. Critical thinking and decision making, time management, communication skills, self confidence, a better understanding of relationships and the human animal, and exposure to different cultures and lifestyles that cure bigotry and closed-mindedness are just a few benefits of being educated. But I'm not surprised to read that so many of you appear to place a greater value on a game than you do an education.
  11. My apologies, I didn't know I was dealing with a person who has special needs.
  12. So you dislike him because you're either a partisan hack or because you're racist. I say that with confidence because there is no tangible measurable by which the economy has not improved since he was sworn in. But keep spouting your talking points. I'm sure others incapable of critical thought will find you quite interesting. The rest of us are just watching you embarrass yourself.
  13. And oddly enough the economy has stabalized and even started to rebound from the freefall it was in when Obama took office. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that people who rely on Fox for "news" remain dangerously ignorant.
  14. You breathe through your mouth, don't you?
  15. Oh, I dunno. Without flexing too much brain power, I'd say that the average fan knows Lee Evans, CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson a helluva lot better than some guy with a non-descript name on a loser team whose biggest claim to fame is dropping a ball and losing a game. Wouldn't you?
  16. What's your poiint? Justin Bieber has sold millions of records, being popular does not equal being good. If Fox was a real news agency you'd know that the War Powers Act of 1973 gives the president the power to do what Obama did in Libya. Just like Reagan in Grenada and Bush 41 in Panama. Instead you have Beck and Hannity telling you what to think and leading you around by the gonads. And you let them. Fox News is a joke and people who rely on them for as their sole source of news are wholly and entirely misguided. Fair and Balanced? Pfft. How about Ignorant and Disingenuous?
  17. Stevie Johnson? Really? The twits at EA looked up and down the roster and thought the most recognizable player was Stevie Johnson? No wonder their game sucks year after year.
  18. His family is fairly well-off from what I've read. And he'll make his money, just not yet...
  19. No, it's not odd at all. They had been (poorly) drafting and signing 4-3 players for years, but the 3-4 requires different types of manimals.
  20. He makes a lot of valid points. But I do I have a feeling that he'll be looking for work soon...
  21. I'm not sure it's fair to throw him under the bus when the most obvious problem was talent, not scheme.
  22. I see them trying to get in a game where they can run Lynch to soften up a D, then Freddy to pop some big ones, then CJ to drive the spike...
