  1. I heard of him; he must be awesome.
  2. I disagree. You're late in the 4th quarter, down by 28, and your 2-time Super Bowl champion has just thrown his 4th interception of the game. Spare him the humiliation when he simply wasn't at his best, avoid the possibility of injury on a play that is basically insignificant as the game is unwinnable, and receive the added benefit of giving the rookie some game time. That's the no brainer. Not putting Nassib out there in those situations speaks volumes.
  3. Im sure there are more that aren't coming to mind, but my list has to include: Lori JSP KRC Aussie ICE stojan Petrino Mark VI R.Rich NJ Sue hogboy stuckincincy
  4. The same Nassib who never saw the field despite Eli's craptacular play?
  5. It was a season-ending press conference, they are going to be as non-committal as possible. What did some of you really expect? Do you want them to start blabbering on emotionally and start firing coaches and releasing players via a press conference or would you rather they are measured in their responses and actions?
  6. Marrone: No offseason for me, I need to assess everything - players, schemes, play calls, execution, everything.
  7. Russ: Team has improved under Marrone and Whaley, nobody is happy with the record.
  8. I was surprised to hear Ike's name come up.
  9. Don't overthink it, man. The coaches have talked about credibility and accountability from the jump. And the coaches, like any other person in any other leadership role in any other organization, company, or firm, would have neither if they failed to enforce the rules. Nothing more, nothing less.
  10. I think the notion of cutting him comes from a couple of places. First, the passing offense seemed to look better in games he did not play. Second, you can count more clutch drops and SNAFUs he's had over the past several years than you can clutch plays. In other words, he hurts more than he helps.
  11. I can promise that, for some of us anyway, it'll be more fun to watch people wallowing in self pity over a football team's win-loss record. I'm interested in seeing what Moecki brings to the table. If he can stay healthy, that would be a huge upgrade over Chandler.
  12. Why was it assinine? Do you even know with 100% certainty the reason for the benching was tardiness? How many times did it happen prior? Were the team rules not communicated to the players from day one? Or were you not there? You guys are talking all sorts of crap while knowing absolutely nothing about the details of what really went down. Just. Stop.
  13. The above quote is from the article you linked to. And therein lies the rub. Do you know how many times Hardy was late? Do you know how many times Dareus was late? Do you even know - outside of message boards or sportalk rumors - that tardiness was the reason Dareus was benched? Has anyone, coach, player, or PR flack said as much? You seem to be drawing comparisions where there aren't any in an effort to uphold your anti-Marrone crusade. To people capable of critical thought, it's getting old.
  14. Because it's their job and they're supposed to be professionals. And need I say they get million$ of other reasons, too?
  15. While the Bills may or may not make news with their roster turnover, I don't think KW said anything differently than any vet playing for a team that missed the playoffs said to his team's beat reporters. There's no 'there' there. Chris Brown's comments are much more telling, imo.
  16. I remember that one well. Cunningham ducking about 3 yards deep in the end zone as Bruce goes flying over top of him. Cunningham pops up and throws it waaay down field for a TD. I recall being more than a little stunned...
  17. Are you the team doctor? If so, please let me know as that is the only way I will read past what I bolded.
  18. I agree with the first bolded part, strongly disagree with the second bolded part.
  19. Remember the first game against the Jets? Remember how much better the D was in the second game? Remember the first game against the Fish? Remember how much better the D was in the second game?
  20. I bet the coaches and front office wouldn't agree. Nor do I. They have a guy they think they can win with. He'll have a year in this offense under his belt, and barring another injury, should be well poised to perform at a much higher level next year.
  21. I thought the same thing but had a hard time articulating it. The OP, fortunately, doesn't know what that's like. Yet.
  22. Had the opportunity to meet him - seemed like a nice guy. If that BuffNews article on TBD is any indication, he knows he's done.
  23. Wait. You just started a new thread with no new content but only to link to a thread you started in September? I'm no expert, but that's got to be against some sort of message board etiquette. Maybe next time you should just add to the thread you already started.
