  1. Try a PM to udonkey. He's in cincy and has a Backers club going... Also send a PM to stuckincincy. He could probably make some good suggestions, he's been there awhile.
  2. 17-10, Bflo wins
  3. Wouldn't be entirely different than the Bills Love-Fest NBC broadcasted every Sunday during the early 90's.
  4. Couple of things: -Virginia sales tax is 4.5%, which I've found to be on the lower side in my travels. -There is no set tax rate in "Hampton Roads" for prepared food, it's determined by the city. You live in Va Bch, the city with the highest prepared food tax. Eating in Chesapeake or Norfolk will save you that extra 75 cents per meal.
  5. I'm not arguing the overall gist of your post, but there is one thing that should be addressed regarding the faked punt against Oakland. Kevin Thomas, Joe Burns, and Moorman all recognized that the Raiders shifted one of their guys towards the line after the Bills lined up to generate more pressure, which left the Bills gunner (Thomas) unchecked. All 3 recognized the situation and Moorman audiblized, Thomas didn't have a Raider within 10 yards of him as Moorman threw it, easy first down with a punter as athletic as Moorman. But that wasn't a called fake, it was an audible by Moorman. This link is on my Backers Club's website and has Mularkey discussing the play in greater detail...
  6. I still can not believe I saw BILLS fans doing the wave while we had the ball. Back when the wave was cool we didn't even do that! WTF were those chuckleheaded assclowns thinking?
  7. Hmmm.... Maybe he's afraid he'll lose his military pension if he says "husband." Your guess is as good as mine. I do know that he and Dona participated in some sort of ring ceremony on their last trip to Ireland - I didn't believe it to be a wedding, but perhaps it was? I dunno'
  8. Back to the regular routine this weekend with the one o'clock start thank goodness. The last 4 or 5 seasons we usually fill up that back room with Bills fans pretty well, but I was surprised at how many unfamiliar faces I saw - it was too crowded for my tastes, I was hoping to visit with you some more. VaBchBledsoeFan (Jeezuz I hope he gets a shorter screenname soon!) sat up by me. The blonde is Nichole, Gary's gal. Gary (and Nichole now) meet up with us at Hammers for the opener, so that's probably who you saw in the picture. He's not much of an internet-guy, but he enjoys the people at the tailgate. The auburn-haired gal is Nichole's former roommate. They're both real sweet, and certainly not too hard on the eyes! But next time you're down this way, make sure the Bills have an early game, will ya'?
  9. Every Sunday we're at AJ Gators on S Holland. If you want to hang out with a bunch of Bills fans, come on down. If you're not sure how to get there, there's a "Directions" page at BillsBackersofVirginia.com. I'll be there around noon, wearing a Milloy home (blue) jersey. If you make it, introduce yourself- remember, I still owe you a beer!
  10. What are the differences between XM and Sirius?
  11. I forget most of the details, but BiB spent a good part of his life teaching our guys how to kill their guys by way of chemicals. Suffice it to say, he knows his stuff. He was at Gator's on Sunday for the Raiders game (God I hate afternoon games, it always seems so chaotic in there). I had the chance to talk to him before kickoff - he's one of the good guys.
  12. That's what I was gonna' say!
  13. Bummer he's dead, I'll read the article in a moment, but I remember we studied his work in a Photography class in school. He was one of the legends, and his style will probably always be imitated - as it still is today.
  14. From Websters http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=irregardless So you're right, it is a word recognized by Merriam-Webster - Although they advise against using it. From dictionary.com:
  15. Give him a minute to get some links, but Fezmid will be along soon!
  16. Irregardless? While being condescending to others, I've found it best to use words that actually exist, like "regardless." English is fundamental.
  17. A lot of interesting ideas, opinions, and things to think about. These are the types of threads I love, great job guys!
  18. Good point. I also neglected to add that despite the protests of the 4 out of 5 dentists who recommend sugarless gum for their patients who chew gum, JP prefers Bubble Yum.
  19. Everyone does know that the same image is all over the net with the kid wearing various team's garb and face paint, right? There was a 'Phins fan here that used a Miami version as his avatar if I remember correctly.
  20. Lighten up, Francis.
  21. Nice sentiment. But screw the Patriots
  22. That is amazingly callous (in regards to the NFL's position, not Berni's post).
