  1. That's not entirely accurate.
  2. I hope one of two things are going on right now: 1) You're being facetious, or 2) Your wife's out of town on business and you've been into the swill again
  3. Neither KFFL or AP are carrying it yet if it is true.
  4. http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx/WNSA_FM_S.asx Starts at 3PM eastern.
  5. WM displayed a lot of patience on his runs from his first touch. It looked he got his confidence up, and really started to take over during the 2nd half. I've been a TH defender, but I'll be the first to admit that this kid just might end up being special. He took a late-hit out of bounds after a nice gainer, and was pushed in the TV lift on the sidelines. He too the next play off because he twisted his ankle a bit, and Burns came in. WM was back the next play. In an interesting sidenote, the guy (some no-name CB) who was flagged for hitting WM late was on the receiving end of a viscious stiff arm by McGahee on a 31 yd run. WM knocked him out of the game, it was a thing of beauty. Moulds played very well, Campbell, Evans, and Reed made some plays when called upon. The OL played very well, and WM was effective chipping on Taylor. The D was very strong, especially after Adams sat and Edwards went it. He played a monster game and singlehandedly stopped Sammy Morris from running roughshod on us, as he did in the 1st half. All in all, they finished. The game (except WM) wasn't entirely different than the first four, but the 4th qtr domination and ToP put Miami away. A great overall effort.
  6. You want MM to implement a game plan based on a nickel corner?
  7. Good point Dan, I hadn't thought of that, but between EM claiming it was a catch and the situation on the field, that may very well have been the reason MM went ahead and tossed the red flag.
  8. From this USA Today post mortem
  9. I was afraid you misread the scoreboard and jumped! Glad you arrived back home safely. I take it you had a good time?
  10. This morning I would have agreed 100%. After watching Willis today, TH's deficiencies are more visible. WM can make the first guy miss and is much better at pass protection. Also, he reminds me a bit of Thurman in that he doesn't take many direct shots, he's elusive while being tackled (if there is such a thing). This tells me he'll be fresher at the end of games/seasons, and knee notwithstanding, he'll be injured less. Also, the likelihood of an RB with TH's bruising style of putting the ball on the carpet is much greater than WM's. WM may never be an elite back, but he is looking like an upgrade to the position right now IMO.
  11. Not a baseball fan, so be patient... Is this one of the wildcard series that MLB started doing, or is a LCS?
  12. 6) Congratulations to Mike Mularkey. For the first time this year your players didn't let you down and you got your first Head Coaching win. We're looking forward to many many more!
  13. That may be the first post that you and I can agree on!
  14. DB played his arse off today. He was elusive in the pocket, and accurate on his throws. Hard to ask for more than that from ANY QB.
  15. Good post! I think Fletch was a little too agressive on that play also, but he's played his arse off over the past few games, I'll give him a pass. As far as WM's running, I couldn't agree more. I mentioned to a few of the folks watching the game at our Backers bar that it was reminiscent of Thurman. Patience, and popping out of a pile for a couple more yards. Also, he doesn't seem to take direct shots, which should reduce the potential for fumbles. I'm not ready to chase TH out of town just yet, but I'll admit, WM has the potential to be a very good player for a very long time. He's a playmaker, and IMO, we need those types of players.
  16. Certainly made up for lost time, didn't he? B)
  17. After TKO's TD they kicked off from their own 20 (excessive celebration call). He kicked off to the 5. What's the problem?
  18. It's just the nature of the negative-nancy beast, I'm afraid
  19. So what you're saying is that you've nominated him for "Whipping Boy of the Week?"
  20. Wm showed some serious potential today. As I mentioned in another thread, his ability to make the first guy miss and pop out of a pile for an extra couple of yards was impressive- and fun to watch. Too early to say for sure, but he just might end up making Donahoe look pretty frickin' shrewd.
