  1. I'm a little too giddy over numbers like 13 carries for 6 yards (Faulk's numbers) to sweat 3rd down percentages too much.
  2. It's pretty frustrating watching them struggle, especially after taking a look at the roster. They have some real talent on this team, but for whatever reason, they just don't seem to put it together and win many games. If I had a magic wand, I'd wave it and fix their problems, but I'm not sure that I'd know exactly what to fix. I (and I know I'm not the only person) have been watching this team for 30-plus years (I'm 36). As frustrated as I get, I just don't see myself giving up on them - Too much history.
  3. After the game JP did say "It's time to start taking this thing seriously." I think that you hit the nail on the head - he wasn't as "mentally" involved as the coaches would have liked. I viewed it as a wake-up call too.
  4. When did Moulds say he wants out? If you're referring to that WGR story, I believe it has more to do with frustration than anything else. Perhaps I'm alone in that belief?
  5. No doubt, but the timing is somewhat curious nonetheless.
  6. Signed off on the letter for my Senator and Representative. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
  7. Looks like it'll be a good read. Thanks for finding it OTR.
  8. Great movie - thanks for the laugh. Now I gotta' go find me some "Roman Red."
  9. HEY- I was speaking about you, not to you. Go milk a bull you uneducated kaber-throwin' skirt-wearin' haggis-eatin' redneck Okie putz who isn't even from WNY.
  10. At Hammer's before the Jags game, I spent a few minutes talking to ICE about a few different things, and I found him to be good guy. He believes what he believes, but he didn't once shout me down for disagreeing with him. We all have our online personnas, and after having met many posters, most of us are a bit more toned-down in the real world than we are online (hang around the PPP board and you'll quickly appreciate what I mean ). I for one thought he was a pretty cool guy in person. It was nice to meet him.
  11. I guess I wasn't clear in my earlier posts. I like him as a person based on a chance meeting in a bank -he's from this area. I think he's the most exciting single player in the game. He does, however, have an awful lot of people in his hometown that, while still fans of his, say that when his team needs him to make a big play to win a game, he can't deliver. The last time I've heard anything to contradict their beliefs was when he played high school ball for the Hampton Crabbers. And I've yet to read anyone on this board cite a big play when Atlanta or VA Tech needed him to win a game. He QB'd a team that held the Pack to 7 points in the playoffs at Lambeu. That's impressive, I'm not saying it isn't, but Vick hardly "won" that game. I'd gladly defend Vick if that reputation isn't accurate, but I believe it is. Prove me wrong.
  12. That game is discussed later in the thread.
  13. That's probably the most accurate assessment of the New England game I've read yet. But Howie Long is still a putz in my book.
  14. Sorry eryn. I intended to direct that at those who did, not you.
  15. I have no beef with Steve, but that really was pretty funny
  16. Years ago I kept HBO just for that show. Now, I can't stomach it. It's gone downhill since Len and Nick left - maybe even a few seasons before that.
  17. That petition was started by TBD poster stevestojan. Most of us have already signed it, so you're a bit late to the party. http://205.134.161.85/forums/index.php?showtopic=9675 Welcome aboard. I look forward to reading your posts.
  18. You mean it's not as funny as shooting liberals?
