  1. AMEN brother! But seriously, just wait til next year!
  2. I guess this would be my list (excluding friends and those I've met before): -Alaska Darin -DCTom -LABills -stuckincincy
  3. Yummmm Looks like it'd be delicious. We're going to a friends for Thanksgiving, and she already made Pecan Pie, but your Pumpkin Custard looks pretty darn good!! BTW here's the cookbook link if you want to add it later on. http://www.twobillsdrive.com/cookbook/index.php
  4. Considering that I can't drive across town for under 50 cents, paying somebody 41 cents to take my cell phone bill half way across the country just doesn't seem like too big a deal to me.
  5. If there's such a thing as an honest politician, John McCain has gotta' be pretty close to one. The more I see and about him, the more I like him.
  6. I used to do that with my old ProFootball Weekly and Sport magazines (my bro only wanted Bflo stuff). I don't know if that was only a Marine-thing, or even if the Marines still do it, but I know they did in the mid-80's.
  7. There's not always a reason. Hell, unless we're just trying to make up excuses, there is NEVER a reason. Cheating is the cruelest betrayal of trust, and guys even brag about it! I guess they don't realize that cheating on your spouse lowers your integrity to that of the level of whale stevestojan. Running away instead of either resolving the situation or being man enough to end the relationship is gutless. Back home (Bflo) we call that "being a kitty." As far as the question at hand, Teresa and I are going to an attorney-friend's place for Thanksgiving. He's originally from Buffalo too, so I'll ask if he can suggest anyone. I'll PM you his answer.
  8. UConn pretty much nailed it, especially the small hand-written note. This may not be appropriate for someone with whom you are not related (or very close - don't ask don't tell ), but my brother had always asked for new underwear in his packages. I guess you can never have too many while you're in the field? We also included new toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, Gold Bond powder, Skin-So-Soft, and other similiar comfort-type items we knew he liked. I also saved old Shout! Magazines and old Sports sections of The Bflo News to put in there, he really seemed to like reading those. What you're doing is nice. More of us should do it.
  9. The last U2 studio record I bought was War. That was a great one. After that I picked up Live At Red Rocks/Under A Blood Red Sky, another killer record, it really captured the rebellious Irish pseudo-punk attitude that was U2. Later a girfriend bought me one (Joshua Tree, I think), and I had it for all of 2 days. Never opened it (I'd heard 4-5 songs already), and gave it to a friend for his birthday. Not that I wasn't appreciative of my then-girlfriend's gift, I was just advocating "recycling."
  10. You don't see the creativity and wittiness in the "Drew sucks" mantra repeated 25-30 times a day?
  11. There doesn't appear to be an easy answer, but I'd say the cup throwing is probably not. From A Layperson's Guide to Criminal Law:
  12. Rocky Road to Dublin Morrison's Jig Fur Elise Glendaurel Highlanders
  13. I loved their real old stuff (everything pre-Live At Red Rocks/Under A Blood Red Sky). I wasn't a big fan of The Unforgettable Fire or Joshua Tree, but when ZooRopa came out, they totally lost me. I guess that, like you, I was hoping that they'd get back to their roots, and it sounds like they didn't.
  14. Not that I'd admit on an internet message board! Next time I see you, remind me to tell you about a friend's Bachelor Party (a few years before I was married). Two nekkid hot chicks who really, umm...liked each other. Those were two girls I enjoyed getting "to know!" But don't remind me to tell you that story if Teresa is within earshot.
  15. Oops http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=10769
  16. No. As I posted before he was hired, Mularkey's the real deal and will be a very good coach for a long time. I'm glad we landed him.
  17. That's exactly why I'll take field position.
