  1. I can't. I'm pulling for Miami - I love the Bills more than I hate the Fish. GO MIAMI
  2. Between Scylla and Charybdus, but I'd take it. B)
  3. Cheater. At least VABills slides his claymores down the lane.
  4. I think so too. They also play NE, and that could be loss #2 of the 3 we need/want. Their other 2 games are at St Louis, and in NJ against Seattle.
  5. Assuming the Jets don't drop 3, the rest do have to happen. The biggest obstacle IMO might be Denver going to KC and not having Holmes in at RB. But the Ravens do have to lose 2, Denver 2, and Jags 1. Looking at their opponents, it's do-able for sure. IF the Bills win out the schedule, and those teams drop those games, we're in!
  6. Nice work Kelso. My old butt is back at school, and this week was finals week so I was a bit busy - awesome work, sorry I missed it.
  7. (I think) Lou Saban took over in '61 and was the GM then. I'm not sure if he kept his GM role when he started coaching in '62 though... ROCKPILE, WHERE ARE YOU?
  8. You'll have a blast, when are you heading out? Do me one favor - MAKE SOME NOISE IN THERE!!!!!! Lets Go BUFF-A-LO!!!!
  9. Like I said, it's predicated on the Bills winning the rest of the way. It may not happen, but IF they do, playoffs are about as close to a lock as they can be given that we "don't control our destiny." I agree with your sentiment though, it started a couple of weeks ago, but each and every game is huge. I imagine the Ralph will be jumping today. I expect the Bills to play lights-out today - and I'm definiteley psyched!!! GO BILLS!
  10. Bills WILL make the playoffsProvided the Bills win out: If the Jets drop 3 games we can catch them. They play @Pitt, Seattle, NE, and @ St Louis. If Seattle or StL can pull off a win, and the Jets fall to Pitt and NE as I expect them to, we pass them by virtue of tiebreaker (common opponent record). The Ravens have to lose two, they play @ Indy next week, and at Pitt the following week - they'll lose both games. Denver has to lose two for Bflo to pass them as well. They play at a Priest-less KC next week, and at Tenesee the following week. The final week of the season, they have Indy, but it's at Denver. Cinci can only afford to drop one and would be out of the hunt by virtue of their loss to Bflo, plus they're at NE today. The Jags need to lose one, likely at Green Bay next week, they host Chicago today, and Houston after the GB game. Their final game is at Oakland, and Bills fans know how tricky those west coast trips can be. Thanks to Eric Zimmerman of the Bills Backers of Virginia for producing the playoff matrix this info is based upon.
  11. That's just terrific, what a great victory for him and all of your family! Judging by that post, he's a hero with one helluva good role model. Congratulations and Happy Birthday Johnny!
  12. Hi Sue. A good friend (Bills and Sabres fan, but not a TBD'er) works for Geico here in Va Bch. From what he's said, it's a great place to work and the bosses there are all super. He loves it. He does pretty well, he supervises an inbound-calls sales dept, and he makes pretty good money. It sounds like the benefits are pretty good too. My wife (you remember Teresa) runs a customer service dept for a national cell phone group, and offered him a job as a manager, which would be a promotion in title and money - she was going to throw a lot of money his way - but he quickly said no thank you because he loves working at Geico. I've met some of his coworkers at parties he's thrown, and they all seem like good people. From what they've said, Geico is a great place to work. Good luck!
  13. I always tell 'em I'm going to the Falls to "see the sights." That's somewhat appropriate for the ballet.
  14. Unless some wiseass comes along and quotes you, and thereby preserves your words in the vast ether for all eternity. FWIW, I think Ralph bought the tix too, and the game will be on TV in WNY.
  15. I don't know if they still do this, but I always called my insurance company and let them know I was going to be in Canada. They'd prepare a form that met Canada's proof of insurance requirements in the event of a fender bender.
