  1. Will you wet yourself if they do? Come to think of it, don't answer that. I'm not exactly batting .1000 when I ask that!
  2. If you're creating a new widget using uncertain projections as to the quality of the parts, then yes, as long as the boss has seen marked improvement from your R&D. I'm of the opinion that Bflo has shown marked improvement over the last several years. The team is in a much better state now than it was when Butler left, and they are very close to being elite.
  3. I heard the audio on the radio from an interview with the mother this AM. I don't believe she's an attorney, she's not very... ummm.... articulate. If she's an attorney, her clients are in trouble.
  4. I like the way people keep looking at Bflo's drafts (which have been pretty good IMO), but they ignore the FA and UDFA acquisitions: Greer Adams Spikes Vincent Milloy Bledsoe (at the time the best QB available) Matthews etc...
  5. Now I know why the Japanese refer to him as Tom Tora Tora Tora Donahoe.
  6. Since Donahoe didn't draft OJ, he was out to screw him? Damn, he really is evil.
  7. Exactly. And since the judicial system is a branch of the government, it's very existance is mandated by the Constitution, as are the bounds of the judiciary's authority. Hence, the Constitution IS the highest authority in the judicial system.
  8. Funny, I always thought it was the United States Constitution...
  9. I think I read somewhere that double jeopardy doesn't apply to military proceedings, only civil/criminal proceedings. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure I do have that right.
  10. A former pro-bowl back making just 1.25M entering his contract year isn't what I'd call a "misbegotten hope that Henry will be a good soldier."
  11. No, I'm sorry. The correct question was "Who is Oakland?"
  12. I won't call you crazy, I've seen too many of your posts to think that. But forgive me if this thread makes me awfully glad you're not Bflo's GM! EDIT-BRH was a bit quicker on the keyboard than me!
  13. That one wouldn't bother me much if he'd just stop pimping nuns.
  14. How about the possibility that TH won't be a Bill come opening day and we'll be getting picks to be used in a much stronger draft class? Don't be so myopic on this. The season doesn't start today.
  15. My bro liked to keep the thumb and little finger even. I always preferred the thumb being a bit behind it. I'm not sure if there's a right way or wrong way on that, I believe it's personal preference.
  16. I don't like the rubber band method because it doesn't break the glove in evenly. Trust me, park your car on it, it'll be broken in as well as leaving it banded for a few days after just the first night. Repeat the process a second night, and the glove will feel like it's a couple of years old. I've tried the rubber bands, but IMO they just didn't truly break the glove in when compared to the parking method.
  17. The paper doesn't really say much, and certainly not from a named source. TD's on the record with his comments, but read into it what you will...
  18. By no means an expert, but this always worked for us. -Oil it really well. Be generous with the oil. -Put a baseball in the pocket. -Wrap it loosely in an old towel. -Put the towel and glove on the ground. -Park your car tire on it and let it sit overnight. -Do it again the following night. I know it sounds crazy, but it makes a new glove feel old and comfortable. I still do it that way when I break-in my gloves.
  19. That poster wasn't really Roscoe. Roscoe is "Roscoe Parrish," the person that answered some of the questions was "RoscoeParrish," with no space between the first and last name.
  20. Same here. He's a Bill for crying out loud.
