  1. I think thats worth it for a franchise QB. Like if we are in the drought years, I would have been thrilled to do that for a QB like Lamar. But the reason teams were scared off was because Lamar was looking for fully guaranteed money and no owner/gm was going to trade those assets and give him the fully guaranteed deal
  2. "Great" is over stating it I think. He is a descent/good QB. But I don't think he's good enough to consistently compete with josh, Mahomes, burrow etc
  3. I will almost guarantee he gets more. The cap goes up every year, so that's just the way it works. He will probably get 45-48 per year if I were to guess. Term/guarantees will Be the big numbers to look at though
  4. This is not a boxing match. It's not "burrow vs josh ". Burrow plays against the bills defence and Josh plays against the bengals defence. Spags always gets "slapped " by Josh , where his defences does well against burrow in the playoffs
  5. As soon as they didn't get it I said this games over. Dumb dumb decision
  6. Great coach but horrible game. That last 4th down call I see how he wanted to go for it. But that 4th and 2 to potentially go up 27-10? Inexcusable to go for it IMO
  7. It wasn't back and forth at the time though. Would have been 27-10 with 22 minutes left
  8. I will respectfully disagree as I can't say the odds of making a 45 yard Fg is in the same ball park of converting a 4th and 2
  9. How are the odds the same though? Perfect weather conditions, 45 yard kick is what probably 80 percent? 4th and 2, 50/50, maybe 55/45 at best?
  10. So it was burrow vs Mahomes? Didn't know it was a boxing match
  11. If your kicker can't make a 45 yard field goal in perfect weather conditions, then you need a new kicker
  12. 45 yarder it would have been in perfect weather conditions Your kicker absolutely has to drill that kick
  13. That 4th down call changed the game 27-10 it could have been with all the momentum
  14. I hear you. Just given the circumstances though, I would have absolutely taken the 3 to make it a 3 score game. If it's a 10 point game? Sure go for it to make it a 3 possession game.
  15. Dan Campbell has to take the 3 points there. You have a chance to go up 3 scores with 22 minutes left...
  16. Based on what? I think you meant to say cincis defence is way better than the bills. Look at Josh's stats compared to burrows against the chiefs
  17. Lamar is a great QB, but he's not on Joshs and Mahomes level. At least in big games Tier 1: Josh, Mahomes Tier 2: Burrow, Lamar
  18. Yep! The biggest issue about people saying "go for the first down " is they act like it's a guaranteed TD if they get the first down there. (Probably 50/50 at best, especially if you still want to drain clock) You have to take that open shot to Shakir
  19. I thought Brady did a good job outside of two drives in a row in the 3rd quarter. Chiefs were begging the bills to throw but we stubbornly kept running it which resulted in back to back 2nd and longs. Which led to back to back 3 and outs. Sometimes that's the difference when the margins are so small
  20. If we include Knox in the trade, that may bump us down to the 2nd round..
  21. Ya but there is no guarantee we get a TD if we just got a first down there. Or bass to make the kick if we don't get a TD.. (clearly lol) Wide open TD pass, I think you have to take it
  22. Thank you... People just assume we are automatically going to get a TD there if we played for the 1st down Imagine if we got the 1st down , get stopped after, and then bass shanks a 33 yarder? (Which would have been very possible) People would be losing their minds and say why didn't they go for the TD when Shakir was wide open
  23. Not a huge BB guy at this point but if there's one thing I do know it's this.. They win this game if he was the coach as he would actually have an answer for the chiefs "average" offence that McDermott made look elite again
  24. But it still doesn't make sense to me. Up 4 with a chance to win in regulation Or.. BEST case scenario overtime... There shouldn't even be a debate to what the better option is.
  25. You would rather be tied with 30 seconds left (when Mahomes has shown he only needs 13 seconds for a Fg) opposed to be winning by 4 with 1:50 left? Respectfully, I do not understand that logic at all. So best case scenario is OT and worst case is you lose on a game winning kick in regulation?..
