I am pretty sure I heard from Joe Marino a few weeks ago that they ran by far the most cover 2- Now they did play a lot more cover 1 against KC by the looks of it, so maybe brought that average down a bit. That's fair, I just don't like a bend but don't break when Josh Allen is your QB. You risk having him on the sidelines for too long. Like a Steve Spags defence I love personally. You get burnt more for sure, but you also get more 3 and outs/punts, which is part of the reason why KC has the some of the highest TOP in the NFL.

Wow ya you're right. I just checked the nfc standings and forgot it was that deep this year. Usually 9-8 gets you in the playoffs in the NFC, but this year is a different story

Ya it might be a must win for them next week also. If SF loses today and lose to the bills next week, SF would have to basically win out with a tough schedule remaining

Ya you're definitely right about the 2nd half defence. That and the turnovers have been great. My one beef with him is I think he gets too passive at times. I think by far they play the most cover 2 and have the lowest blitz rate. (Admittedly I don't like a bend but don't break defence) Last week was a lot more cover 1/man which I loved. Forced 2 turnovers and I think, 3, three and outs? Hope to see more of that aggression going forward

I do got to respectfully ask- How do you think babich has been incredible? The bills before the chiefs game were the 18th ranked scoring defence, which is wild to me for a Sean McDermott defence. I get they have had injuries, but under almost every year the bills have had major injuries on defence . (Last year being worse) The turnovers the defence gets are A plus, but I'm genuinely curious how fans and media think babich has been awesome. Is it context because it's his first year on the job? Is it because the turnovers? In saying that, I do think he had by far his best game against the chiefs last week as it was impressive

I know I'm not arguing that burrow is better as I would take Josh as well. My original point was W-L record is not a quarterback stat and I was using Joe burrow and the bengals as an example

I had a rotator cuff injury playing baseball and could barely lift my arm over my head without pain. Not sure how significant Purdys injury is but if it's rotator cuff, going to take some time you would think

I respecfully disagree. I would take Josh all day as he's our guy. But when you throw for 450 yards and 5 TDS and score 35 points but your defence can't stop anyone or your kicker has missed game winning kicks in 2 games (baltimore and chargers), I put basically 0 blame on Burrow. Not too mention the horrible PI call against KC in the last seconds that set the winning kick. Even flipt those 3 games around which was out of Burrows control, and the Bengals are 7-4. Not too mention all the other times he scored 30 plus and the defence couldn't stop anyone

Kittle, Mccafery, Samuel, Trent Williams, Juice on offence were all all pros before Purdy got there lol. The only guy you can make an argument for is Aiyuk I honestly don't know if there would be a difference? Burrow has thrown for over 800 yards and 9'TDs against Baltimore this year and they lost both games. I am not sure what more he can do this season

100 percent agree. I know Dolphins didn't have a capable backup, but their offence went from one of the better ones in the league when he was in, to basically a high school offence when he was injured Purdys team is so much better. They had like 8 or 9 all pros on their team last year, not too mention Shanahan is a better coach than Mcdaniel W-L record is not just a QB stat, just look at Joe Burrow this year
