  1. That year cinci almost won the Super Bowl, burrow was super average. His defence bailed him out basically every game, and if Josh played like him with the bills defence, they would have gotten blown out in all those games
  2. Ahh ok fair enough. Then yes I agree with that
  3. 2017, 2018 were way worse, 2019 as well because Josh wasn't who he is now and an elite QB covers up a lot of holes
  4. Against Miami? Bills were a few plays away from losing against Skylar Thompson compared to the chiefs absolutely routing the Steelers. I don't see the comparison you're trying to make here
  5. Right they were flat. But like all great coaches do, he made adjustments and Steelers had 0 answer
  6. Wasn't that play a pick 6 by TJ Watt and nothing to do with the Steelers offence? lol
  7. For me it's pretty simple on McDermott. If I was a gm with a bottom 5 roster, I would kill to have him as a coach as he's stable and can hold things together. If I'm a top 5 roster in the NFL (like the bills have been the last 3-4 years), I don't think he's the man you want to get you over the hump.
  8. I'm not a big McDermott fan but.. In fairness to him He did make the playoffs in 2017 with tyrod Taylor
  9. Ok so we are just going to excuse, "touchdown, field goal, touchdown" 3 drives straight in the 2nd half? Even if the FG was off a turnover Like I said, it was a team collapse. Offence sucked, but defence also choked
  10. When you blow a 16 point lead with 20 minutes to go, that's on the head coach. McDermott isn't a defensive coordinator. Hes the head coach and is responsible for everything, including the offence "puking on themselves "
  11. It was both. Offence and defence choked. I Don't know why it has to be "one or the other". Wheen you blow a 16 point lead with 20 minutes to go, many things have to go wrong, and it ultimately stops with the head coach
  12. Combination of Josh allen being wreckless and the defence getting carved in the 4th. It is not one or the other, it was both which led to the collapse
  13. @GunnerBillwhat exactly do you disagree with here? I think even Mcdermotts mom would admit he messed up the 13 seconds game
  14. And 13 seconds in 2021 And 2019 16 point blown lead to Houston.
  15. Why would Tom Brady want to be a QB coach in the off season though? He makes what, 20 million a year broadcasting at FOX?
  16. Seems like an easy question to me ... How can it not be Sam Aiken?
  17. On defence Miami has had some pretty big turnover. No Wilkins, Howard or Jerome Baker, 3 key starters. (And Ogbah as a depth piece) On offence they are pretty similar outside of their o line as no Williams or Hunt returning. They remind me of the bills off season a bit where they released some veteran guys as they were tight to the cap. I Def agree about Tua. Hes not great, but he's a pretty descent QB who runs the system well.
  18. Miami for me. A lot of people saying Miami got worse which is probably true. But on paper so did the bills. if you are looking at it from a Miami side, the bills on paper got worse at: -O line, WR, DE, maybe safety Where did the bills get better? Maybe DT depth Jets o line I think is still a mess and I don't see a rod holding up there . i still think its the bills division , with Miami half a step behind
  19. I don't see Zack Wilson in your top 8...?
  20. Overpaid but they had to do it in my opinion and that's where the QB market is now
  21. Fair points. You're probably right and I'm definitely more negative than positive on Salah, but he has been dealt a pretty crap on offence. I do think flacco succeeding in Cleveland and not New York makes sense though. Browns have a way better o line, a much better run game, an offensive head coach and better offensive weapons. And let's be honest, a lot of luck as there were a ton of "yolo" balls thrown that somehow worked lol
  22. I think the jury is still out on Him IMO. Last year he was given an impossible task with Zach Wilson at QB. I think that's more of an indictment on Joe Douglas to not having a proper backup QB This will def be a make or break year for him
  23. He was especially bad in that green bay game. He legit could not throw in that rain. (And wasn't even coming down hard) Going to be a big problem for SF if they have bad weather games in the playoffs
  24. Ya i dont get some of the tomlin hate around here. The guy got to the playoffs with Mason Rudolph last year
  25. I do agree with that part as I think if the bills had their key guys, they probably win the game against them this year
