Great work with the analytics- To me it is pretty simple at least in regards to the Chiefs: The chiefs best players in key positions step up. (Mahomes, Kelce. Chris Jones, Sneed etc) The only player that steps up for the Bills is Josh. And on top of that, we don't really have elite talent outside of Josh . Combine that with andy reid being one of the best offensive minded coaches of all time facing off against Mcdermott who tends to show that the big moments get the best of him, the end result is the 0-3 in the playoffs against KC

Ya I'm wrong about a ton of things but I never understood the "MVS is getting cut argument". His contract has void years on it and it would have taken an absolute disaster for him to get cut. And it's not like the competition behind him was good, it was god awful

Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
BillsFan130 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's an interesting conversation. Cause let's say it's 4th and 10 on the 30. Are you kicking or going for it there? As of now I would say kick it, unless Bass just keeps missing those. But if that's the case you got to cut him. But if it's like 4th and 3 on the 30 to your point, then probably gonna go for it -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3
BillsFan130 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good post- In total going into the season compared going into camp, this is how I feel personally about the roster: QBs- Feel worse as trubisky looked bad and is injured RBs- Feel better as Ray Davis showing promise WRs- Somehow I even feel worse about this group and besides Shakir, got questions about everyone. (Samuels health always seems to be an issue) O line- Hard to really tell. Depth looks descent though including Grable TEs- Same- Kincaid and Knox didn't play much but we know what the bills have here as it's a position of strength D line- Probably better as a whole. Rousseau showing he's ready for a breakout, Johnson looks descent and Solomon showing promise LBs- Of course worse cause the Milano injury. Dorian Williams has potential, but he's a bit of a soup sandwich out there CBs- Definitely better. Elam had a strong camp/ pre season. Hardy could be a steal and Ingram looked good Safeties-Shaky to begin with, but now Worse cause the injuries/ lack of continuity Special teams- Worse- I think we can all agree about this as Bass continues to struggle -
Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
BillsFan130 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the issue is a lot of teams struggle with having a reliable kicker. So there probably aren't a lot of good kickers out there and you couple that with the contract, bills are a bit stuck at this point. They definitely need to bring in a veteran kicker on the practice squad though, cause this could get bad very fast -

Never a good sign when his field goals look like my golf shots -

You don't think the 5 are set? I think it's Samuel, Shakir, Coleman, Hollins and MVS pretty strongly -

Andreeson has looked pretty rough IMO. Back to back runs he got fooled by the misdirection -

All depends if A rod stays healthy. If he does, I'm guessing 10 wins. But that's a big "If". Good chance he gets killed behind that o line -
How many of y'all drafted Shakir as your FF sleeper?
BillsFan130 replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a pretty bold prediction. Not saying you're wrong. But personally I would be very surprised if he puts up those numbers. I would guess like 800 and 5-6 TDs myself -

Josh Allen/ Ray Davis will combine for a lot of rushing TDs. Kincaid, Samuel, Shakir, Cook, Coleman, and even a bit of Knox will be featured in the passing game with some roles Bills aren't paying Samuel like 9 mil to be a slightly better version of McKenzie. Check his stats/usage under Joe Brady when he had him in Carolina How many yards/TDs do you think Shakir will get out of curiosity? -

BillsFan130 replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am more after KIncaid. I don't see a ton of upside for Shakir. Like best case scenario, 900 yards maybe 6 TDs? This is not to discount shakir as he is a good WR, just a lot of mouths to feed on the bills offence -
McDermott: "MVS & Samuel good chance of Week 1 return"
BillsFan130 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh agreed- I take no team for granted and if they are 100 percent cleared, then play them. But there is also no point rushing those guys back from injury if it has the potential to linger on and compromises them for the week 2 miami game -

Good news. I would definitely error on the side of caution though. If they can play, fantastic. But need those guys, especially Samuel, on a short week against Miami -
Bass struggling at minicamp (and now at training camp)
BillsFan130 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
For sure I don't deny his production it was great for 3.5 years. But there's a reason you can't trade 1st round picks every year for high priced guys. You would be in salary cap hell very quickly -

BillsFan130 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a fair point but it's also not as equal as a first round pick. First round pick is cost control for 5 years, where bills had to pay top of market for Diggs which of course limits opportunities to get other free agents etc. -

BillsFan130 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they almost have to wait for roster cuts at this point. Every team still has 90 man rosters and a lot of teams have two kickers, so probably not a lot out there now. It will be interesting after cut day when some More kickers will be free agents. If bass continues struggles during the season, you got to start wondering how long his leash will be -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 2
BillsFan130 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep I do agree with that. Which is why I'll say Beane is a good, but not great GM. This team needs more elite talent and game breakers outside of Josh -

BillsFan130 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, fair points. But any GM or head coach is gonna get fired without the franchise QB. Even bill belichick the greatest coach of all time was. (Who also served as the GM basically) So at the end of the day you have to credit him for getting the most important position correct. There's lots of luck in the draft for every team at some point -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 2
BillsFan130 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
But Beane also drafted Josh which is a big credit to him. Beane definitely has faults. Overall he's a good Gm, but If you wanna argue that this team doesn't have enough elite talent besides Josh, then that's definitely fair -
If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…
BillsFan130 replied to julian's topic in The Stadium Wall
100 percent RBs are the easiest position to fill. 2 more years and I would let Cook walk anyways as I'm not a believer in paying RBs 2nd contracts unless you're CMC -
Yep. He is very talented but has a lot of holes in his game as of now. Dropped passes, fumbles, not a great pass protector, not a great 3rd and short back etc.
