  1. They just can’t help themselves when it comes to signing niche special team players… Love the Martin signing, not a fan of the Matakevich
  2. Yes sir I agree with you. One more concussion to Tua and their season is basically over as well.
  3. I would agree with all of this except one thing: Miami was SHREDDING GB before Tua got his concussion. Had like 250 yards or something in the 1st half with 2 TDs, and this was against the number 1 pass defence
  4. True. The way I look at it, we sucked for 2 decades. I can stomach 5 bad years for a SB win lol
  5. I would still do that trade off all day. If bills won a SB and then sucked for the next 5-7 years, sign me up.
  6. Interesting just checked Ramsey’s contract and there is no dead cap if the Dolphins cut him after this year. But I would assume Ramsey is going to want a new contract and that’s part of the reason he was getting traded. (Rams couldn’t afford it)
  7. Yep. Even in that super bowl game he got torched. Still a good player, but he’s an overpaid guy who’s an idiot and is on the last 3rd of his career.
  8. 1. Turning 29 which is aging in the NFL, especially in a position like corner. 2. I would strongly disagree he had the best season in his career as he got to torched a ton. 3. He has a massive cap hit
  9. Fine by me if the Dolphins want to blow their cap space on an aging corner who isn’t elite anymore
  10. I would guess around 2 years between 9-10 total. Can’t see a 27 year old rotation back getting 3 years, but you never know
  11. Kind of happy the bills didn’t sign woods. They need to get faster and younger, and woods is the opposite of that
  12. I don’t think any of us are expecting to hold teams like the chiefs under 20 points. But 3 years of horrible playoff losses isn’t good enough. Which is why Frazier is gone. (I will never buy he retired, this was a polite way of firing him IMHO) Also, SF/Phly had one bad game, not 3 years in a row with ugly defensive playoff exits. Go back to last years playoffs, SFs D was dominant. No one is even expecting the Bills D to be dominant, just be competent. (Like the bengals defence the last 2 years)
  13. I am not cherry picking any of the data. I mentioned they have been very good in the regular season. They have also had some nice games in the playoffs as well. (Against mediocre QBs mind you) Where they have failed time and time again is against elite QBs, three years in a row. Those are facts. It’s not cherry picking anything .
  14. Ok I’ll take a step back and try to understand your line of thinking as I just don’t see where you’re coming from. So you’re good with having great regular seasons , only to flame out against great QBs in the playoffs? Because that is the fact of the matter We are talking almost 1500 yards in their last 3 losses combined and an average of over 35 points per game. (One game against burrow and 2 against Mahomes) So yes I am looking at the last 3 losses, because if the bills go to the SB, they have to beat the elite QBs and they have showed they can’t even be remotely competitive on the defensive side against them “Once is a mistake. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a pattern”
  15. What good is it if you are the “number 1” defence but you can’t stop a nose bleed against great QBs in the playoffs?? I really don’t understand your thinking here. It’s not a small sample size of their playoff failures. You can even add in choking a 16 point 3rd quarter lead against Houston back in 2019
  16. How can they be much worse? Lol. Their defence was atrocious in the last 3 playoff losses. That part is inarguable
  17. Honest question though. Can the bills defence be any worse in their last 3 playoff losses? What is the point In paying him 18 mil a year so our defence is better in the regular season?
  18. Edmunds isn’t a flashy player. So how would they know if he’s good or not unless they watched every bills game? I think the media portrays Edmunds as a “good” player and he’s a relatively “big name”. Us bills fans have watched him for 5 years and we still can’t come to a consensus whether he’s good or not haha
  19. I am sure you understand, as it all comes down to revunue generated. There is a reason why lacrosse players make 20k a year compared to NFL and NBA guys who make tens of millions. Football is a business which attracts a lot of money, and the players get a certain percentage of that revenue.
  20. I don’t either. 15 touchdown passes for 40 mil a year… Blows my mind
  21. Yep thank you. Basically every D coordinator in the playoffs knew how to play the bengals except Frazier. Ravens, chiefs the week after. Only Frazier would go into the game with a soft zone plan in wet and slippery surfaces.
  22. They adjusted when it was what, 14-0? Look at the stats in the 1st half. Against zone burrow was like 16-19 for 2 TDs. And against man he was like 2 for 7. You can’t just spot a team 14 points in a bad weather game. When I said “adjustments “, I meant game plan going in
  23. Bills players were awful that game and it’s not just on the defence, I will acknowledge that. But Frazier gave them no chance to win. When you sit in a soft zone essentially all game, it’s too easy for Mahomes and burrow. They are “taking what the defence” gives them, and Frazier gave them easy yards all game . If they challenged the bengals, played man to man/pressed their receivers and still got crushed, I would have 0 problem with frazier. It’s the fact that he literally didn’t even give them a chance. This passive game plan has now been exposed 3 years in a row by great QBs, and he failed to make any adjustments. Inexcusable
