  1. Ya would Remind me of the bills in the drought days. Spend 1st round picks on Willis, Lynch, Spiller etc. But have no QB
  2. Texans are average at best, they got a soft division and struggle to get 9-10 wins Washington I'll listen to. But there isn't no Jayden Daniels in this draft
  3. Giants had 3 wins this year. They are soooo far away. By the time they even have a chance of being good, he will be like 30 I could listen that they should have traded him and got value. But I don't think re signing him makes sense, given where they are as a franchise
  4. Giants were what, 6-11 with Barkley? An elite RB doesn't move the needle without a QB or a line
  5. Ya it would have made no sense for a team with no QB and a horrible o line to pay a RB 15 mil per season
  6. I would say Barkley wins offensive player of the year
  7. Is Lamar going? Not sure if anyone knows
  8. Nothing but respect for that guy. Played with a torn ACL in 100 plus degrees in Miami
  9. Yep I agree. Which is why I found the Coleman and Kincaid picks to be "curious ", to say the least
  10. Yep. And I would assume a post June 1st cut with Vons contract, would also carry over dead cap to 2026. Better to just cut him pre June 1st and eat the dead cap in 2025
  11. The issue for me personally isn't necessarily the quantity- It's "when" they rotate. Ravens game for example- When they scored that final TD, bills had Solomon, Jefferson and Epenasa out there. And this was 2 plays after coming out of a 2 minute warning, so it's not like the starters were gassed or anything . To me that's pretty indefensible- Crunch time coming out of a two minute warning and you have your backup D line in
  12. I don't know how many times I saw guys like Casey Toohill or Quinton Jefferson playing crucial red zone snaps on the FIRST drive lol. Beyond frustrating
  13. Ya agreed, it would just be wayyy too much money tied up to the cornerback position IMO. Taron Johnson also getting paid near top end dollar at the nickel position
  14. I get your overall point- Like the bills CB2 in Douglas struggled this year. I would definitely invest in the position and spend a day two draft pick there. But having almost 40 mil tied up to two corners, not too mention Taron Johnson having one of the higher nickel salaries, is just too much IMO.
  15. 13-15 seems low for Reed IMHO. I would be shocked if it isn't at least 17 mil. I think the combination of him and Benford would be around 40 mil Mcdermott historically pays one corner, and then the 2nd one is a JAG or a draft pick. (EJ Gaines, Levi Wallace, Dane Jackson, Benford on a rookie deal etc)
  16. The problem is the contract situation. Benford has one more year left You can't pay two corners 20 plus mil
  17. He made some big plays for sure. But I thought he did struggle in coverage this year. Joe Marino loves Taron- But even a few podcasts ago, he even said he thought Taron didn't have his best season
  18. Yep it's rough. And doing a dry February myself, so gonna be a long month boys
  19. They should trade 3 first round picks to get Baker Mayfield..
  20. Ya Taron didn't have a great season. And of course injuries basically wiped the last two years away from Milano
  21. That's fair and I see your points. I'm not absolving the offence as they had a chance to score at the end and didn't. But you did mention the bills strength of their team is the offence. I agree. But the chiefs strength? Is their defence. That's a top 3 unit in the league, and at home. If it was an average defence or below average, then I would fully agree with you. In regulation time, these are the points the chiefs have given up their last 5 playoff Games 14, 19, 10, 24, (bills Game last year) and 7 I think asking 30 plus points in arrowhead is a lot. If you're gonna beat KC, you have to hold them to 24 points or under IMO. As the strength of their team is no longer the offence, it's the defence
  22. I guess it depends on your expectations. If someone told you before the game that the bills got almost 400 yards of offence and 29 points - On the road against a Spags defence , would you have taken it? For me the answer is yes in a heart beat If someone told you before the game the chiefs got 32 points- Would you have taken it? For me the answer is easily no. That's personally what it comes down to for me
  23. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41040723/2024-nfl-win-rates-top-teams-players-rankings Chris jones was number 1 in pass rush win rate from DTs. I heard a lot from chiefs podcast , and they said the sacks don't come close to telling the story for him , as he was a beast all year
  24. Fair enough- They definitely were transitioning to a lot more cover one man on 3rd downs the last couple years, so I'll grant you that
  25. Fair, but just saying they played 6 more man snaps has to have context as well. If let's say 5 of 6 of those extra man snaps were on 3rd and mediums/long, then I would say that's a big change.
