  1. I love the risk. Got to take a bit of a swing
  2. Sign a lower/moderate FA and draft a CB in the 2nd round. Whoever wins the battle in camp gets the CB2 job
  3. Both you guys make good points IMO. The advanced stats do show that he is a good separator. But I do lean towards your side of the argument- He hasn't really produced a lot in 4 years. (2022 he was descent) It does beg the question- If his advanced stats are good and he's playing with a good QB in Justin Herbert, why hasn't he produced much. Which is a bit concerning IMO
  4. I put a question mark. I had no idea who the player was but saw some nfl insiders listed him a DT who had the same weight as Tim settle. Simon respectfully told Me that he was more of a hybrid player and I told him thank you for the insight You can take a breath now bud
  5. Zack Wilson signed 1 year 6 mil, up to 10 mil in Miami😂 That is a disgusting overpay
  6. Slayton to the giants for the same contract. Does Beane have a grudge against fast receivers?
  7. I always find it hilarious when dolphin fans keep saying: "Josh Allen is gonna get hurt one day"! When Josh is literally the most durable QB in the nfl, and Tua is the least durable lol
  8. It was good for sure. But i also don't think we can count on the insane efficiency again. I think Josh only had 8 turnovers? And something like he had the least negative plays ever by a starting QB in like 40 years? Not to say they wont be good, but Thats a tough formula to replicate
  9. Ya it's only 18 guaranteed I think I saw. Which means it's probably like a 2 year, 18 million dollar deal
  10. Travis Kelce and Chris Jones both weren't first round picks. Mcduffie late first round pick. Cheifs can find blue chippers without drafting top 5 or tanking their cap. Eagles: Traded for AJ brown. Saquon FA signing. Hurts 2nd round pick. Cooper Dejean 2nd rounder who looks like a blue chipper. I can keep going with other Super Bowl caliber teams if you want
  11. Ahh ok Fair enough then. Hendrickson would be my target. (Although I hear bengals are now being pretty unreasonable with their asking price)
  12. Per your last paragraph. I hear what you're saying In having a balanced roster- But I also think that's a criticism of Beane. Bills always have a very good roster with a lot of good players. But no "elite" players outside of Josh. (And maybe Dawkins) I would rather go after blue chippers and then piece together the roster, opposed to being more balanced. JMO
  13. I definitely believe Garrett wanted out and to play for a contender. But.. When Cleveland offered him an insane contract, he probably thought there's no way he could turn it down. Money talks more often than not
  14. Bingo. RB is also the easiest position to fill. If the O line is good, the Rb is gonna be good. If the o line sucks, the RB isn't gonna have much success. Ray Davis in my opinion is average at best. And In the 1 game cook missed, he got 150 scrimmage yards
  15. This is where I'm at. I think Metcalf is good, but isn't a great player. I had a feeling he was gonna get 30, but still feel like it's too much for him
  16. Would you say Metcalf is a great player though? If you look at his stats in his career, he averages just over 1000 yards a season. I think Metcalf is a good to very good player. But pound for pound I think benford is better than him- As I think benford is a borderline top 5 corner, and Metcalf is definitely well out of the top 5 and probably isn't even top 10. If you want to argue Metcalf plays more than a premium position, that's definitely fair
  17. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/josh-allen-gets-four-year-flow-of-220-million-a-record Florio is saying it's 220 million cash flow for the first 4 years. Unless im An idiot and read that wrong. (Which is very possible)
  18. Why not just keep cooper kupp if you're the rams? Edit: Ok I didn't know kupp was making almost 30 mil per
  19. Cook is better no doubt. But you can't pay everyone. And running back is a pretty easy position to fill
  20. Ray Davis in his only start scrimmaged 150 total yards. Can Davis and a mid round pick replace Cook? Probably not fully. But if it's 80-85 percent production plus another 15 mil in cap space for the roster , then I'm choosing that for sure
  21. Hard to say. Happening more in pro sports these days though. In hockey, Bruins traded Carlo to Toronto and Marchand to Florida. (Two division rivals) Also Christian Kirk got traded from jags to Houston Bills are definitely an afc rival to your point, but it's not like the bengals would be trading him to Baltimore or Pittsburgh
  22. I just don't see how Garrets "use of the media" , is even remotely close to what cook did. I guess I'm just not sure why it's even being brought up But all good , we can agree to disagree and move on
