  1. Fair- But I think a lot of us (including myself), were saying go up to get him at the time, as he has elite traits- And it was a surprise to me that he even made it to the 20s
  2. Ya for sure, we will never know if a trade was realistic for the right price. But... There is a price for everything. If the Bills really wanted BT JR, they could have gotten him 100 percent agreed. I said the exact same thing when the Bills drafted Kincaid. Going big with 12 personnel isn't Josh's strong suit, as he prefers throwing to shifty receivers
  3. That's true. Most likely would have been a 2024 2nd and change. So in hindsight it would have probably been swapping 1sts, cole bishop and Maybe someone like Javon Solomon for Brian Thomas
  4. Yep- Overall Beane has built a good team. But just not enough elite talent. Elam- 3 seasons played Kincaid- 2 Coleman- 1 So 6 seasons in total from those guys From his last 3 first round picks (I know Coleman is technically pick 33), he's only really had 1 productive season out of 6 from those guys. (Kincaid last year) That's the difference right now between overall a very good team he's built, and a Super Bowl team
  5. I'm in no disagreement there- The bills pass rush isn't good enough. But the play calling also sucks- Let me give you two examples from yesterdays game. 4th and 5 the bills have with the game on the line- Spags confuses Josh/Brady. That's 100 percent a scheme win and nothing to do with talent 3rd and 9 for the chiefs which iced the game. Babich is in man coverage. Andy anticipates it, and calls the perfect man beater. Another scheme win with nothing to do with talent. The talent isn't good enough to your point- But Babich always gets out schemed on the money downs
  6. When you're 29th in 3rd downs, it's not just one thing. Its play calling, lack of pass rush, and poor coverage
  7. Yep I agree. And would still have your 3rd round pick this year, as they probably wouldn’t have had to trade for Cooper
  8. Thomas was picked at 23, Bills were at 28. So would have had to move to 20-22 to get him Thomas had an amazing year. Almost 1300 yards, 10 TDs and is looking like a superstar in the making
  9. Babich was a disaster from the opening game I called him out multiple times and caught a lot of flack for it, but the guy got out coached time after time. 29th on 3rd downs- Just not good enough
  10. I don't like the scheme to your point, but I think it's mostly lack of talent on the D line. Von in 2022 was ripping it before he tore his ACL.
  11. Worst part is: They trade up for Elam and Kincaid... But they don't trade up for a guy like Brian Thomas. If Coleman flames out, gonna set this team back big time. As you can't have 3 first round busts in a row.
  12. Fair but Benford and Douglas are much better zone corners. Then you're asking them to play man coverage in the highest stakes- Seems counter intuitive to me
  13. I know they weren't- Which exactly speaks to the issue. They build and conduct a heavy zone team all year- But in the playoffs they change to man cause you have to against the great QBs. That should tell you everything you need to know about how flawed their system is
  14. My solution isn't to fire McDermott- But I would hire an outside DC to change this defence. This undersized/heavy zone scheme just doesn't hold up in the big games against KC
  15. Get Trey Hendrickson Instead of signing under performing guys like Samuel, epenesa, D jones that cost 7-10 mil each... Give that money to a stud pass rusher in Hendrickson and figure out the rest. Edit: I thought he was a UFA but still has one more year- Would definitely explore a trade if the price was right though . (Although I doubt Cinci would give him up)
  16. I think where we disagree is you're looking at it at a micro/situational view, and I'm looking it as a macro view. All good, we’ll agree to disagree. Appreciate the respectful discussion👍
  17. Unconditional love is the answer. As painful as it can be
  18. Can you repeat that one more time as I didn't catch it😅
  19. Fair enough- It sounds like you have low expectations for our defence (which is fair), and you wanted our offence to overcome that. Dont even disagree with that- But at some point if the bills are gonna get to a Super Bowl, gonna have to hold KC to under 30 IMO
  20. Good rookie season, huge disappointment this year. I thought he was supposed to be known for his hands..
  21. You do know that KC had their best offensive game of the season this game, right?
  22. Well I would say one of the turnover on downs was because they had to go for it at the end cause the D didn't do their job letting up 32 But that's fair, we can agree to disagree. Respectfully though , I think you're over rating this chiefs offence a lot. Houston absolutely dominated them last week and they showed this season they are just an above average offence. And it's extremely tough to get 30 plus points on Spags. (I think the only Time they let up 30 this year was against the bills)
  23. Yep. Got a feeling the bills will go DE/DT in the draft. Its same story- Pass rush not good enough, defensive backs can't cover, and out coached by Andy
  24. Ok let's end on this- And then we can agree to disagree if need be. If someone told you before the game and you didn't know the outcome from the chiefs offence: The bills got 29 points, 374 yards, and won the time of possession. Would you have taken that, yes or no?
  25. Exactly- Chiefs defence in 4 games last post season games didn't let up 30 points. (And haven't let up 30 in 2 games this year( I believe this is the most points they have given up since the Super Bowl against Philly. 29 should be enough to win
