That's just brilliant play calling. There is the wrinkle in the Shakir screen that teams will now have to think more about -

Joe Marino basically laughed at the rams guy when he thought the rams would cover the spread. Just comes across as extremely arrogant -

Wow a blitz worked who would have guessed.. If an idiot like me can figure out to blitz more and not play passive against a QB who shreds zone, why does it take our professional DC and coach 20 plays to figure it out? -

Yep. Besides the Seahawks game, I honestly don't remember a game the bills weren't soft up the middle. Starts with this passive defensive philosophy -

What does the EPA say about this, still let them run the ball? What a dumb metric -

This is embarrassing. Wanna mix in some man to man babich or just going to continue to play soft zone against stafford -

It's maddening. That was by far their best defensive game plan against KC and now we go back to soft zone -

Haha nice job Babich. Give up a TD and give up a 8 minute drive cause you refuse to send pressure -

This is why I hate bend but don't break. Already a 6 minute drive and counting and the mvp just sitting on the sidelines -

Babich needs to call more blitzes. This rush 4 sitting back is so frustrating -
The Von miller one I can live with- The Bills had a gaping hole at pass rush and Von was just coming off an amazing Super Bowl run with the Rams, so Beane took a gamble. It burned him, But I get why he signed him- For myself I can't get mad at him for taking that swing. The Diggs extension I 100 percent agree with you on. There was absolutely no reason to do that when he was under contract for multiple years I think the difference is the bills needed to do something big at D line as they were horrible in 2021. But the bills didn't "need" to extend Diggs

Your previews are awesome as always. Cannot wait for this one as it should be a fun one -
No sorry, I probably worded it wrong. I definitely see how you thought that

I am not saying mcdermott doesn't deserve credit for the development of Josh. I am just saying I think a lot people give more credit to Daboll cause he was the OC. If Mcdermott called the plays on offence, then objectively he would have gotten more credit. (like Lafleur with Love, Reid with mahomes, the list goes on)

Week 14 - Bills at Rams Game Week Thread
BillsFan130 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
But why do you think the bills are automatically going to score a TD if they just went for the 1st down? I think fans just think the bills are automatically going to score Weird things happen. You get a penalty that knocks you out of field goal range. Turnovers. Missed field goal if you get stopped. (Which is what we ended up seeing) When you have a wide open TD, you take it 100 out of 100 times. It was just unfortunate Dawkins got pushed back into Josh -
Lafleur is the OC and an offensive head coach. I think with Joshs development, Daboll gets a lot of the credit since he was the OC. (Giants saw it that way as well and hired Dabs to try to develop DJ)

Week 14 - Bills at Rams Game Week Thread
BillsFan130 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the bills have a very good offence, but I don't think they have an elite offence. (I think they are 18th in pass yards per game, granted their starters sit sometimes in the 4th) Why they get 30 plus points IMO is because the turnover margin. They take care of the football and their defence takes the ball away and sets them up with short fields. So a very good, efficient offence I would say that also benefits from the bills defence who has been amazing at taking away the football and giving them extra opportunities -
True but their whole defence was decimated. Not sure how many guys they are getting back next week, if any. I know anzalone, hutch are out for sure, but no clue about the others

One of the games of the year and my power goes out. Beautiful

You're arguing hypotheticals when I'm just saying the facts in the first half. Respectfully I'm Not too sure what you're disputing but all good. Enjoy the game sir
-
I understand there are other factors in the game as that's not my point. They decided to defer, Detroit got a TD. And Detroit ended the half with a TD. The decision to defer did not work for them this time around objectively I am really not too sure what you're debating here
-
The best case scenario is they get a TD and it's "even". So they objectively didn't benefit from the decision
