  1. This is interesting as I hear a lot of people say Purdy is a west coast Tua. I personally just don't see a ton of similiarities in their game If it's because they run a similar west coast offensive scheme that is based off of timing and accuracy? Ok sure But Purdy is WAY more off script than Tua- And has improved as a scrambler a lot over the last couple years. Tua= Better at accuracy and timing Purdy= Better at scrambling/going off script. JMO
  2. Are you talking relative to contract? Like you would rather Fields at 20 million compared to those guys in the 50s? Or just straight up you think fields is better than them?
  3. IMO: Pros: Accuracy, a good pre snap qb. (although I do think Shanny helps a ton with that) Cons: Poor arm strength, can't throw in inclement weather, poor decision making at times At best I think he is an average QB- JMO
  4. SF had a team full of all pros. I think they legit had 5 all pros on their offence that year, which is absolutely ridiculous. Doesn't even include guys on the defensive side of the ball like Warner, Bosa etc
  5. I think you mean, Have fun being "Mr irrelevant " now. Sorry I had to..
  6. Ya especially closer to game time . Originally resale will be higher. But closer to the games, prices should drop as people will just be looking to make something off the tickets if they can't go to the games
  7. Ya IMO there's not enough evidence to correlate a late bye being an advantage. Have the majority of teams the last 10 Years or so won the Super Bowl with a late bye? Seems so, but not in convincing fashion. Also could be because of so many factors, which is why it's hard to correlate a late bye with being a big advantage
  8. On paper, a very manageable schedule 1. Early bye does suck 2. early part of the schedule seems easy outside of baltimore- Bills have a good chance of stacking wins early All in all there really isn't a gauntlet in the schedule like in years past
  9. I think we are going to be a bit disappointed the first half of the season with the defence. No Hoecht/Larry, rookie corner and rookie rotational defensive tackles. I think it's going to take a bit of time for them to gel- I hope I'm wrong lol cause I'm tired of seeing the D getting gashed
  10. Don't they have Starks and Hamilton as the presumed starters? Unless they were planning on mixing in 3 safeties a lot on passing downs
  11. Good point. I think it's more the week 1s they really struggle. Lost to the pats at home last year, and got blown by Cleveland the year before. I believe they are 1-5 in week 1 games under Zac Taylor
  12. I hope not. Sunday night football is the worst time slot to watch a bills game IMO
  13. I do miss the Sunday 1 games. Damn you Josh Allen.. haha
  14. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/eagles-commanders-packers-bears-set-for-week-16-saturday-doubleheader Good chance bills won't play Christmas as those teams that play that Saturday double header, probably will be getting the Christmas games. (The extra day off)
  15. I would almost guarantee the league has the bills new stadium factored into 2026. Most new stadiums (if not all) have opened on Sunday night football if you look at past history, and I doubt they would want the bills on Sunday night football to open the season on back to back years. (Of course if the bills win the Super Bowl, that would change that). I could be wrong
  16. Those long contested two point attempts.. it's like dude, just attempt a 3 pointer at that point haha
  17. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/james-cook-potential-holdout-not-something-i-want-to-talk-about-right-now Going to be interesting to see if Cook holds out or not. (I can't see how it would make any sense from his side)
  18. As someone who lives in the Toronto area, love the Dwayne Casey shout out haha. I will add though- The big reason the raps did win was the trade for Kawhi. As Derozan was rough in the playoffs. (Getting rid of Casey for Nick nurse was def a factor as well to your point) I do agree with your overall point here about McDermott . Good coach who can stabilize a team. But Not sure if he's the guy to take you over the hump
  19. I'm guessing 2026 will be when the bills open on Sunday night football because of the new stadium. I can't imagine them having back to back years opening on SNF
  20. Fair enough- But he definitely uses it as motivation. He has always admitted to saying he has a huge chip on his shoulder from not getting any scholarships. Then the Jalen Ramsey thing, being called overrated. The list goes on. He definitely hears the noise from the outside Whether that contributes to impact on performance? I think there's more than enough anecdotal evidence to say it does. But we will never know of course
  21. Your first comment I agreed with, but not sure I agree with this. You don't think Josh Allen getting called the most overrated player by his peers and media, provided any motivation to him this year and didn't impact performance?
  22. That's fair and I see your point. Personally I'm just not a big fan of paying second contracts to running backs. (Unless you're elite like CMC, Barkley or Henry)
  23. The one game cook missed, Ray Davis had 150 scrimmage yards. Are the bills a better team with cook? For sure- But at what cost? I would much rather a day 2 pick next year at cost control for 4 years paired up with Ray Davis and Ty Johnson, then paying Cook 15 million
  24. I'm not sure of the context of Mack in 2022 as I didn't watch a ton of raiders games and didn't specifically watch him, so if what you're saying is true, I'll take your word for it
