  1. I do miss the Sunday 1 games. Damn you Josh Allen.. haha
  2. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/eagles-commanders-packers-bears-set-for-week-16-saturday-doubleheader Good chance bills won't play Christmas as those teams that play that Saturday double header, probably will be getting the Christmas games. (The extra day off)
  3. I would almost guarantee the league has the bills new stadium factored into 2026. Most new stadiums (if not all) have opened on Sunday night football if you look at past history, and I doubt they would want the bills on Sunday night football to open the season on back to back years. (Of course if the bills win the Super Bowl, that would change that). I could be wrong
  4. Those long contested two point attempts.. it's like dude, just attempt a 3 pointer at that point haha
  5. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/james-cook-potential-holdout-not-something-i-want-to-talk-about-right-now Going to be interesting to see if Cook holds out or not. (I can't see how it would make any sense from his side)
  6. As someone who lives in the Toronto area, love the Dwayne Casey shout out haha. I will add though- The big reason the raps did win was the trade for Kawhi. As Derozan was rough in the playoffs. (Getting rid of Casey for Nick nurse was def a factor as well to your point) I do agree with your overall point here about McDermott . Good coach who can stabilize a team. But Not sure if he's the guy to take you over the hump
  7. I'm guessing 2026 will be when the bills open on Sunday night football because of the new stadium. I can't imagine them having back to back years opening on SNF
  8. Fair enough- But he definitely uses it as motivation. He has always admitted to saying he has a huge chip on his shoulder from not getting any scholarships. Then the Jalen Ramsey thing, being called overrated. The list goes on. He definitely hears the noise from the outside Whether that contributes to impact on performance? I think there's more than enough anecdotal evidence to say it does. But we will never know of course
  9. Your first comment I agreed with, but not sure I agree with this. You don't think Josh Allen getting called the most overrated player by his peers and media, provided any motivation to him this year and didn't impact performance?
  10. That's fair and I see your point. Personally I'm just not a big fan of paying second contracts to running backs. (Unless you're elite like CMC, Barkley or Henry)
  11. The one game cook missed, Ray Davis had 150 scrimmage yards. Are the bills a better team with cook? For sure- But at what cost? I would much rather a day 2 pick next year at cost control for 4 years paired up with Ray Davis and Ty Johnson, then paying Cook 15 million
  12. I'm not sure of the context of Mack in 2022 as I didn't watch a ton of raiders games and didn't specifically watch him, so if what you're saying is true, I'll take your word for it
  13. He was more efficient for sure with the Bills last year- But if you double Hollins targets this year, his efficiency metrics would of course drop. (gabe davis is a prime example, even Shakir last year in terms of percentage completion when he was targeted more)
  14. I think he's referring to the 2022 season with Vegas. Where he had 57 for 690 and 4 TDs on 94 targets. (Last season was 31 for 378 on 50 targets)
  15. He's got more upside than Hollins, but also has by far more negative plays. Drops passes, fumbles, and isn't on the same page with Josh a lot of the times which leads to interceptions Drop rate of 6 percent is still lower than Gabes. Gabe also fumbles more and has way more miscommunications with Josh, which leads to interceptions. Translation: Gave has more upside then Mack, but also has a lot more negative stuff that happens when the ball is thrown his way. Not ideal for a WR4/5 , as you want someone reliable who can play special teams
  16. Bad things happen when you throw to Gabe Davis.. To my knowledge, Mack Hollins didn't fumble, have a dropped pass, or Josh didn't throw an INT when throwing his way. What happened when josh threw to Gabe? Sure some more explosiveness. But drops, fumbles and INTs when targeting him . Also, Mack was elite at special teams where Gabe doesn't play
  17. I wonder if Gabe was available a week ago, if Elijah Moore would have been a Bill.. lol. Happy that Gabe got released after the Moore signing though, as definitely don't want him back
  18. Haha fair points. I was gonna say Pickett- But now that you put it that way, they are probably gonna be wasting a 5th round pick regardless . (By cutting sanders or Pickett)
  19. Cutting a 5th rounder in the 1st offseason? it is possible, but I think the Browns would keep him for at least a year as thats somewhat of an investment If it was a 7th rounder, I would for sure agree. You might be right, we will see
  20. Ya i actually thought when the bills traded into the 40s, that they were going to pick Landon Jackson. Pretty cool they got Sanders, and still were able to get Jackson in round 3
  21. Bills vs Patriots Monday night game in the 2020 Covid year. Bills absolutely throttled them, and let the pats know there is a new boss in the division for many years to come
  22. For sure I do agree the bills should have added a speed receiver. But I wouldn't invested anything crazy at it. A 4th round pick in Royals? Sure I would have liked that. But I do think Beane was absolutely correct in addressing the defence in days 1 and 2. And this is coming from me, who usually pounds the table for a receiver In the 1st round
  23. Hahaha. Ya I think the expectation for our offence is a bit unrealistic for some people Chiefs offence last year did absolutely nothing against Houston or philly in the playoffs. 29 points against the Cheifs should Have been a two score win But Chiefs absolutely carved up the bills defence and Mahomes had his highest EPA in his career... lol
