  1. Haha. "Can" do, and "shouldn't" do are 2 different things though. I'm not sure how you can justify getting rid of possibly the greatest player who has ever played the game, coming off of potentially a MVP and 6th superbowl Patriots lose a lot of trades. Belichick and Brady just overshadow them because they are so damn good. Like for one, Chandler Jones for that guard, Cooper. Arizona absolutely hosed them on that. He sat until the deadline because the Pats were probably trying to get the best deal possible as they were discussing trades about Jimmy G for a while. When they realized they couldn't get full value for him, that's most likely when they had to pull the trigger and take what they could get at the trade deadline. It was most likely a miscalculation on their part, because they would have traded him to the Browns for a 1st in the off season. They had to trade him at the deadline though cause there is no way they would have franchised him or signed him to a long term contract with Brady being there.
  2. But what were they supposed to do? Get rid of Brady next year? They should have gotten more than a 2nd by trading JImmy G in the offseason, but there's no way you can get rid of Brady. He might win MVP and his 6th superbowl title this year
  3. That is true. I did make that point in another thread that not renewing Haley's contract was probably more to do with tensions with Ben rather than results. Just ironic if anything that they don't bring back their OC after hanging 42 points, but keep their DC when an awful offence hangs 45 on them.
  4. I don't understand this. He doesn't renew Haley's contract when his offence puts up 42 points and almost 600 yards against a great defence. But he wants to keep his defensive coach when they let up 45 points and get lit up by an awful offence? Am I missing something here? lol. Pittsburghs offence was one of the best in the league all year, and their defence when Shazier went down was one of the worst
  5. To replace whisenhunt though? I couldn’t see that happening. Unless you mean as a position coach but I doubt Haley would do that
  6. Once again, good post. From what I have heard and read, Mike Tomlin was the one who didn’t want Big Ben sneaking on 4th downs anymores. Or at least it was an agreement between him and Haley. So while those 4th down plays were questionable, a QB sneak was not an option for Haley to call for whatever reason. And fair enough about having better success on 4th down. But that’s nitpickin to a certain degree. At the end of the day they got 42 points and racked up huge yards against a great defence. Their defence is by far the most important reason in which why they lost, not the offence. If someone told you before the game Pitts was going to score 42 points, but gave up a fumble returned for a TD, Ben throwing a pick, and didn’t convert on a couple 4th downs, wouldn’t you still guess they would beat the Jaguars by at least 14 points?
  7. Haha nice post. And no I can’t say I did. Was Just judging based on my own observations with Pittsburgh. I really liked some of the concepts he used with them. Their run game, mis directions, using Bell as a receiver, screens. I know he had tons of talent on that offence, but hard to argue with the results. I mean, they just scored 42 points and almost 600 yards of offence against one of the best defences in the league. What more do they want from their offence? Lol I believe not bringing him back had little to do with results, and more to do with Bens relationship with him. According to reports anyways
  8. I would have loved him in Buffalo. Little too late for that though
  9. Ed Hochuli? Is that a joke lol
  10. Well those 2 games showed me 3 things in regards to your statement 1. Steelers defence is awful 2. Bills defence is good 3. Bortles was way better against Pittsburgh
  11. You’re correct. But not bringing Lynn back wouldn’t have been because he did a bad job. He wouldn’t have been back because the new head coach would want to bring in his own guys/system to the table.
  12. My question to you. Why are you the one always on the tyrod threads messaging and using the same repetitive argument day and night? We all get it man. You think TT sucks. Move on. You’ve stated that probably about 1200 times in less than one year
  13. Do you literally have nothing else to do except complain about Tyrod every day and night? It's actually crazy/weird how much you obsess about him
  14. Ok you’re right. Zay was a monster last year
  15. You forgot about Kyle Shanahan being an idiot as well lol
  16. I mean, he will because they invested a 2nd round pick in him and he was hurt last year. But for people to defend Jones last year just makes absolutely no sense to me. The guy was awful in literally every single category. I'm not calling him a bust, but it's time for people to call a spade a spade as well. Jones had an awful first year
  17. Call it nonsense all you want, read the article. What was the Bills weak link going into the season? QB and WRS I would say. And they ended up both being weak. Don't fool yourself by saying Zay Jones had a good year and TT deserves all the blame for his lack of production. You really cant have much worse of a season than he did
  18. Its a fair question. All the blame doesn't fall on TT. The WRS deserve their share of the blame as well as they struggled to get separation all year. Having Jones as the 2 receiver especially while he was hurt and not producing at all, makes absolutely no sense
  19. That is a great question
  20. There are lots of rules in the NFL that need changing, but I don't think OPI is one of them
  21. http://www.foxbusiness.com/features/2017/01/06/heres-how-much-nfl-players-earn-in-playoffs.html Here is a good article explaining how it works
  22. Ya kinda seems like he’s undecided who to go for at the moment.
