  1. Ya he will have to have the game of his career added with the defence playing lights out for the Bills to have a chance
  2. There are only a few things you can do to stop New England. Get pass rush with 3-4 guys and play tight man to man coverage. That is a lot easier said than done because they have a strong o line with very quick receivers, but that's basically the only way to slow them down Ya I know. Which is why I think this game can get out of hand pretty fast unfortunately
  3. Generally blitzing Brady does not work out too well. Just read a stat today where if teams blitz 6 or more guys , he has 70 tds and no interceptions in his career. That's mind boggling. He gets rid of the ball too quickly for blitzes to be effective
  4. That was one of the better wired for sounds
  5. Out of curiosity, why did we exactly get rid of Ragland again? Did he not fit the 4-3 scheme or something? I know he was drafted as a 3-4 linebacker for Rex
  6. Exactly. I feel like it's watching them against the Harlem Globetrotters. I know the Bills are going to lose but yet I still dedicate 6 hours every season watching the Bills get destroyed by the Pats
  7. Lol Nate Peterman threw about 4 times more INTs against the blitz in one half than Brady has in about17 years Ya his stats against the Bills are just off the charts alll around. I really don't even look forward to watching bills vs patriots anymore
  8. I hate to say it but probably nothing. The Pats are just way more talented than the bills with arguably the greatest QB of all time playing at a MVP level. Bills will have to win by at least plus 4 in the turnover margin for them to have a chance I think. I just don't think we are ready for the Pats yet
  9. I agree, but pretty smart to take advantage of it if you can. It is a loophole in the rule book
  10. I agree 100 percent. I thought he did an excellent job. I'm glad he got rewarded as well
  11. Where in your mind is him getting fired? He went from an assistant coach to head coach who makes more money. That's getting fired? ... The bills obviously wanted to go a different direction in terms of a HEAD COACH. Not offensive coordinator. If they didn't bring him back as an offensive coordinator then that would be considered getting fired. Not sure how you can get fired from a job you never had in the first place. And no I'm not considering him coaching the final game of the year as him being the head coach. That was more about getting rid of Rex Ryan because of the whole Tyrod injury settlement thing. Lynn interviewed for the Bills job and never got it. So if you apply to a job and they hire someone else instead of you because that company wants to go a specific direction, that in your mind is getting fired?... Lynn did pretty damn well for himself last year and now he is the head coach for a team who is poised to win their division. Looks like"getting fired" has worked out pretty well for him
  12. Oh I know. Him and Pederson got to be front runners for coach of the year. Maybe Zimmer as well
  13. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/11/27/rams-line-up-quickly-so-sean-mcvay-can-call-audibles/ Mods feel free to merge or delete if there was a similar topic about it, I searched but didn't see anything. Thought this was pretty interesting as Jared Goff as obviously taken a massive step this year. It's a short article but to sum it up, the Rams are going to line quickly so that Mcvay can scan the defence and relay an audible to Goff before the head clock goes off at 15 seconds left. To relate this to the Bills, we need to draft a QB in the first round. But it is also going to take a creative.smart O coordinator for the QB to progress, and I don't think Dennison is that guy at all.
  14. Fair enough. I cant say I agree with your views on them but everyone is different and I am sure a lot of people are more like you and either don't mind/ enjoy them. My favourite was Barry Sanders where he would just give the ball to the ref after like a 90 yard TD. And I hate to say this cause I don't like Lynch, but his celebrations where he will shake all the o lineman's hands. I just think that displays more a team concept instead of a "look at me", or "look at us" type of deal. Just my personal views on them, I am sure most people agree with you.
  15. Lynn was an offensive coach promoted to a head coach. That is a promotion, not a regression... Teams don't promote offensive coordinators to head coaches if their offence sucks. Especially first year head coaches like Lynn. If you can name one I would actually be pretty interested. And saying Lynn doesn't count as the Bills offence last year was ranked top 10.
  16. No, no that's not what I am getting at. I didn't mean to say they are ungrateful because they celebrate touchdowns. Someone brought up they are like spoiled children and I responded in a different topic all together. I see how you thought that's what I was referring to though When it comes to touchdown celebrations, my view on them is "act like you've been there before". I don't find it necessary to dance every time you score a TD as I think it's immature and non professional, but nothing to do with being ungrateful. That word was meant for a different subject all together.
  17. I was very hard on Mcd the past few weeks but I'll tip my hat to him this week. He did a great job. Only thing I didn't like was going very conservative at the end. They went run, run, run when all they needed was 1 first down to pretty much win the game. It worked yes, but I think he needs to have more of a killer instinct at those times. Besides that one complaint, he had the boys ready to play and pushed the right buttons
  18. Hmm. I disagree personally. If I was CBS I would tell the other analysts to study more and be better at their job, opposed to telling the knowledgeable one to dumb down to their level. Just doesn't make sense to me if CBS would basically say this to Romo: (In other words of course...) "Stop being great at your job because all of our other employees are incompetent". Lol
  19. By colleagues, do you mean Jim Nantz or the other CBS analysts? I don't think CBS would tell him to dumb it down because his colleagues have limited knowledge lol
  20. You're right that different styles work But I would rather have a coach have control of his team like a Belichick, opposed to a coach we had here the last couple years who pretty much let his players do whatever they want. Lol. But yes I'm more than happy to agree on your last point lol
  21. You know just because the QB isn't great, it doesn't give an excuse to an awful OC, right? It is probably pretty accurate to say Tyrod is an average QB who has flaws in his game, and his OC is making him below average this year because of his awful and predictable play calling. Would you at least agree with that? Or is it the "great" Rico Dennison just getting held back because the Bills have one of the worst QBs in the game?...
  22. The players buy in and it works. I hate Belichick but I also respect the control and discipline he has over his team
  23. Not me to be honest. That would be the last thing on my mind
  24. I don't understand your point. What does race have to do with anything here?
  25. By grown men I meant they are Men who are in their 20s and 30s in which alot of them have kids or are married ,and they provide for their families. I don't know if spolied is the right word as nobody handed them a job in the NFL, but ungrateful could probably sum up a lot of players
