  1. The odds makers will agree with me. Spread will be over 10 points
  2. It still has to factor in your thinking though... You got to know in the back of your mind you have to go win that game because you have to go at New england In a few weeks. If he didn't think that, that's another mistake on his part. If he actually thinks they have a better chance to get in the playoffs by going for the tie against a lousy team at home then have to go to Foxboro to win, then he is severely mistaken
  3. I don't think it's possible though is it? Cause even if the Pats beat Pitts next week, the magic number for them would be 1 to clinch the conference
  4. Love the optimism Buddy but they are going to get whacked by the Patriots
  5. I read a few posts that the bills would have a 3 percent chance to get in the playoffs if they tied that game. And they were still saying a tie wouldn't be that bad!! Its mind boggling. Thank you. Can we pin this post to the front of twobillsdrive for the week... Lol No. He even admitted he thought a tie wouldn't be a bad thing. Nothing to do with saying he thought it was the best chance to win. Which makes it even more ridiculous to me
  6. Did I ever say give up and wave the white Towel? No. I would do everything to increase my odds by going for the win against a lousy team. You are not getting into the playoffs if you tie a lousy team like Indy when your season is on the line. Tie Indy but go to Foxboro and win. Sounds very realistic... I know they'll lose. Which is why I am giving you ridiculous odds if you actually think they have a chance lol
  7. How much you want to bet the bills lose that game? I'll even give you 10 to 1 odds
  8. Win at New England? In December..?. Based on the past 17 years what makes you even think the bills are going to keep it within two touchdowns?
  9. Its actually crazy that people here think a tie isn't a horrible thing. There is absolutely no chance they go to Foxboro and beat the Patriots
  10. Ya I didn't see much of him. I wasn't sure if he was injured or not but I guess lost playing time to Thompson
  11. 3 percent chance? Holy cow, that's about a 1 in 33 chance! With odds like that, how can anyone be mad at the possibility of a tie yesterday!..
  12. Here Is the weird part. Jones sucks the first like 8 games of the year but they continue to play him over Thompson. Jones finally looks like he is coming around as a player the past few weeks, and now they demote him?... Why wouldn't they do this earlier in the year if anything?
  13. I still don't understand some of the mindset with ties here guys. A tie does them absolutely no good! You are saying if the Bills tie that game, they are going to beat Miami, go to New England and win, and win in Miami the last game of the year?... Yes they would be mathematically alive and could finish 9-6-1 I understand that. But you have to understand the scenario, and realize it would almost be impossible to win the last 3 games, especially going AT New England and knocking off Brady and Belichick. That straight up will not happen. Especially when clinching the conference will probably be on the line for the Pats. So you NEED to go for the win right there against a lousy Colts team. Once again here guys. A tie does absolutely nothing for them
  14. A tie would have crushed them. You honestly think the bills are going to go to New England and win? Tie that game yesterday and lose to the Pats and your season is done
  15. Its all good. I deleted it seconds before you responded so nothing you could have done
  16. I think out of all the conservative coaches we've had in the drought, this was one of the worst sequences. Not only does he punt there, but he burns a timeout beforehand, where timeouts in that situation are extremely valuable. Even dick jauron would have been disgusted with that sequence
  17. I know I mis understood it which Is why I deleted my post
  18. None. Its my own opinion based on the game and how effectively shady was running. I personally think if the bills give the ball to shady on that 4th and 1, 3 out of 4 times he would make it
  19. Against the Colts and the way shady was running that game, I would have put the odds at 75 percent to make it if they did a read option with Webb under the gun. Pretty much do the same play that got you the 3 yards on the 3rd and 4 before the punt
  20. Didn't they rest starters in 2014 when the bills beat them the last game of the year?
  21. I'm not calling for his firing but I definitely don't think it was the correct call to punt Wow he actually said no to that? That right there tells me he thought a tie wouldn't have been bad, which is why he punted...
