Correct. He is still on IR. -

I think he just got back to practice. Wouldn’t count on him tonight. But Elam has looked decent and I think he will be useful tonight. -
Yeah sheesh. Almost every national media outlet is picking the Bengals. I just read an article on the Athletic the other day about the 1 seed and the question they asked the panel about the #1 seed was only Chiefs & Bengals discussion. I know Coach is gonna get these guys motivated to make a statement tomorrow night.

Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left

What was the wind like at the time? We know if was snowing but I don’t think the wind was as bad. -
James Cook -- 5.8 ypc(!) and his longest is only 33 yards.

It’s all starting to come together! Love to see it! -
The Panthers just kicked the ***** out of the Lions team everyone has been gushing over. Sam Darnold can implode at any time but damn their run game is good and I think there is no question they are the more fun, scrappier team. I’m rooting for them.

The Panthers play the Bucs next week and the Saints after. If they win out they win the division. I think it’ll happen.
-
Is it me or is the run game the only thing that’s kind of working? Stevenson is their only playmaker (tho he does fumble at bad times).

This is a joke page. The Dolphins did not even wear white today.

My theory, and I mean this as much of a positive as I do a negative, is that the Bills like to play ball the way they want to play. They don’t really like to get creative until they have to. And of course this year we have the injury bug. And again, for as much as they can be frustrating every week is a battle and we are still #1 in the AFC and have the #1 point differential in the NFL. This is as much a credit to the defense as it is the offense.

It’s possible! I did think Flores was doing a decent job. McDaniel, I think, has a good football mind but it’ll be interesting to see how they finish the season and into next season.
-
Yeah he definitely got under Stef’s skin. I also kind of have this theory that the back and forth led to Josh trying to target him and that’s partly why he threw at least one of those picks. Like he was forcing throws and it didn’t work out. You know Josh likes to do that kind of stuff but sometimes the other player gets the better of him.

To think the Packers D played them better than us. Sheesh.
-
Holy crap what even was that!?
-
Tough call there. I get going for 3 and forcing them to score a TD. At the same time they could have ran a play and wasted the 2 minute warning even if they turned it over.
-
Yeah I kind of see him like a Thielen type. Sneaky good, sure handed, technician-type. But again he is lanky which is a boost. Early injury had to have stunted his growth here. Daboll & Schoen obviously liked his upside and we had to have known they were a potential sniper on waivers. But they have had even worse injury luck than us at the receiver position. Plus a potential malcontent with Toney? Anyway these things happen.

Wonder if that ankle is nagging but those hands are a different story. He just doesn’t look like the same player this year. -

Every week in the NFL is tough. So many advanced metrics say we are a really good team and even though we have slumped a little mid-season (as we did last season) we are still 12-3 with a difficult SOS and the #1 point differential in the NFL. -
More likely we re-sign Singletary to a team-friendly deal than we pursue Jacobs after the season he has had. Not to mention Cook looks better and better as the season progresses.

Not sure they had “big plans” but they definitely expected to utilize him. I also think they were expecting to keep Hodgins as a squad guy but Daboll’s familiarity and the Giants receiver issues came at the wrong time for us. We probably would have promoted him after Kumerow went on IR. But I could be messing up the timeline here.

Probably wanted Josh to get another for the stat sheet. -

They both were until the end. Still averaged about 9 per after all! This was definitely one of those games where running the ball was the thing to do. Blacks were blowing through massive holes and ripping chunks almost every time. It was did frustrating that Dorsey kept calling passes and Allen kept forcing big throws. It’s like they are trying to assert Josh as MVP or something? This was the opposite of that patriots game last year where the weather was horrible but this time we could run the ball at will and we absolutely should have. I am curious to see the all 22 regarding the looks we got from the bears D. Still, we ended up with a blowout win in the road like we should have even if it was weird.
