I agree that I would not break the bank for Iupati, but prior to this year he was a far better G than Levitre - one of the best in the league. And the drop in performance has a lot to do with injuries, which in and of itself would be a concern as they seem to keep nagging.
Iupati would be great, though he is having a rough year, struggling with injuries. Don't really see anyone else on the list that stands out to me, given our current roster/needs.
It seems like the pass protection has improved over the weeks, but I agree he is not in top form. At the halfway point he was PFF's only green-graded member of the OL but I don't know where everyone stands now.
We can send Spikes up the middle a couple times too. I'm sure he'd relish the opportunity.
More than Rodgers or Brady, I think our defense is built to beat Manning. Let's see what Schwartz can do.
I'm really hoping Geno and the Jets play for pride tomorrow.
The siuation with Baltimore also depends on where they stack in the division. Also it's important to note that if Baltimore wins out and we win out, Miami and Cleveland are out of the playoffs. San Diego and KC seem unlikely to get to 11-5 at this point also. I'd assume that winning out means we're in somehow. That's still asking a lot.
