  1. https://twitter.com/Geraldini93/status/606932641678376960 Gerald McCoy: "Investigation has to be coming for 49ers!! No way that many people from the same team retire coincidentally. What is going on in San Fran?" Pretty sure the owner was already at odds with Harbaugh going into the season.
  2. Of all the possible issues with this list, I'm surprised you are going after Viniateri and Forsett. Viniateri is still one of the best kickers in the game and it's fair to include one kicker, and Forsett had quite a good season.
  3. This isn't happening to any other team, at least not yet.
  4. Right, forgot about the rooks! So Steward is supposed to be at least good at ST's. Guess that makes ILB depth OK if he makes the team.
  5. ILB not so much. Bradham/Brown/Powell seems to be it. Or am I missing someone?
  6. Don't hurt his self of steam! "an idiot" works for all intensive purposes!
  7. Hey this new series from PFF almost proves FTL's point about the FO caring more about retaining defense than offense: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/06/04/snaps-lost-buffalo-bills/ But still, also proves the point that we shouldn't have retained a lot of that offensive "talent"
  8. Go team! Interesting that for all the praise Graham has been getting for his work at corner we are moving him to safety.
  9. Background checks take a while, especially when you have 14k internet posts on record. Welcome to the club!
  10. On offense, hasn't it really been more about purging and improving? Would you rather have Stevie than Sammy? Or CJ than Shady? Or Chandler than Clay? Who have we failed to retain on offense that really needed to be in the past two years?
  11. It was definitely a heads-up defensive play by Parker on the Brown fumble, but watching him run the way he did was dangerous. Brown had space in front of him, but seemed unconcerned with the surrounding defenders. He didn't secure the ball and it was an easy pop the way he was holding it. You can't really run with your arms swinging like that in those situations. The other major situation I recall losing contain on a read option was against Miami that following Thursday, but that was actually Mario's fault.
  12. We don't, but it was a different regime. The current staff has shown a clearer desire to retain the talent on hand and also add the missing talent. Still, do you think Levitre was worth what Tennessee paid him? I don't.
  13. The Bills won't let Glenn walk if Henderson and Kujo clearly aren't able to man the tackle positions. But, say they both show up big in TC/preseason and we end up having perfectly good starters in both of them, the scenario where we lose Glenn becomes more likely and reasonable. Gilmore and Dareus will command big $. Can't keep all of the players always. Then again, if Glenn is back on track to being dominant at LT, well then I'm sure we will do our best to keep him, knowing we have good OT depth.
  14. Don't worry, Golden State's got this.
  15. Damnit, why didn't I apply for this job?
  16. Marcel is top 50 for sure. But glad to see our guys recognized regardless.
  17. But think about how good our defense is. EJ seems to have done well enough agaisnt the 1's not to be remarked upon, while Cassel looked bad (at least early on). Nothing to be concerned about right now.
  18. I will say that the list at least gives more credit to O-Linemen and doesn't overvalue former elite players past their prime, but the ordering is peculiar.
  19. Was thinking this too. When it comes down to Dareus, Gilmore and Glenn, choose two, I take Dareus and Gilmore for sure. Henderson and Kujo would have to show they really were the real deal though.
  20. Remember, the Pats fans started a fundraiser to pay the team's fine.
  21. Spiller was much more pleasant for sure. Shady can't even enjoy bowling night with the team!
