Dixon had that one awesome run last year, but otherwise he has not been a great back. Still doesn't mean he has no value to the team.

Kap is built so differently from RG3 though. He is much bigger and stronger. He can take more hits and make bigger throws. Granted RG3 could make more throws than Tebow or Pryor, but I definitely saw Kap having more long-term potential in the pros. I think he still has a chance, but his team is in shambles right now.

Maybe. Kap played some pretty stellar games in 2012/2013. The NFC West was nowhere near as competitive the one year Smith led them to 13-3, etc.

I tend to think it's Kap, because it's my understanding that Harbaugh backed Roman despite the criticism, but maybe Harbaugh wanted certain things out of Kap that he forced on the offense?

The AFC looks possibly weaker than previous years, with the Ravens, Chargers and Chiefs taking steps back, as well as Big Ben going down. We will see how they adjust in the next few weeks, but right now I'm feeling really good about our chances.
