  1. Duke for Alshon straight up.
  2. Gragg to the rescue!
  3. Please tell me what you're seeing that I am not.
  4. Again, I know PFF isn't the be-all-end-all of football analysis, but they gave Glenn a +4.1 overall grade, saying he was perfect in pass protection yesterday. Haven't watched more film, but it certainly got my attention. I thought Richie and Glenn has done excellent and good respectively, while Wood and the right side have been shaky.
  5. No Schwartz please! No No No! Traded. The one trade involving the Colts where the Colts got the better end of the deal.
  6. What is your definition of brutal? There is no such thing as a "shutdown corner" in today's NFL. QBs and receivers will always get some yards, points, whatever. I look at Eli's stat line, take away that ridiculous Jennings TD and the guy threw for 161 yards and 2 TDs. That's not spectacular. I saw Gilmore playing tight coverage, keeping almost everything in front of him, and tackle very well. He allowed two of six targets to OBJ for eight yards, and all told allowed 49 yards and one TD, plus one INT. If you mean he was picked on in that balls were thrown in his direction, well that's nothing new. Through the first three games Darby and Gilmore were the #1 and #3 most targeted corners in the NFL and they have both performed admirably.
  7. Hell of a game. Crazy that we are going to OT.
  8. No he didn't. He allowed a few completions, sure, but so many players had a worse game. Gilmore had a great second half too. He helped keep us in it.
  9. I wonder if Tyrod is being told not to run like Kap was last year, or if his ankle is hurting, or something else? He has been pretty good overall, but I agree that we should not be ignoring his running ability.
  10. It's just that their pass rushers get to rush the passer.
  11. He also defended several passes and made an INT inn the red zone to keep our faint chances alive.
  12. Richie was there. Otherwise, I agree.
  13. Gilmore was good too. The secondary minus Rambo had a solid game.
  14. I thought he threw some nice balls all over the field. My issues were the playcalls and the receivers either not running their routes to the sticks or being able to get to the sticks on 3rd down. Defenses scheme to contain guys like him. When there was a hole and room to run, he broke free for that big TD that was sadly called back.
  15. Coughlin and Belichick are both experienced, championship coaches. They know how to beat teams like us.
  16. Carpenter had a knee injury this week.
  17. Secondary had a great game. Graham, Darby and Gilmore kept us in it.
  18. In regards to the D line, I think Rex is way overscheming.
  19. Rex is scheming too hard instead of letting his players do what they do best.
  20. Mike Pereira just said chop block was not a penalty there.
  21. It's true, two touchdowns were called back on BS calls. I agree that in this regard the refs are responsible for our loss. But the first half playcalling and execution was awful, the team had no discipline and had other opportunities to make plays and missed them.
  22. I was just responding to those pinning this squarely on the refs.
  23. Sure, but we had a 3rd down stop and he gave them a first in the red zone. Gilmore bailed him out.
  24. Think the playcalling on the two back to back red zone drives were not on him. Dude almost scored on that run and that pass to Clay. Now those were called back due to bad calls. Sure. But I maintain the loss is still mostly on usm
  25. I'm worried about Preston more right now.
