  7. I still can't believe that penalty...
  8. Wait, offsides on a kickoff??
  9. Yep. Hoping for another Big time bounce back road victory.
  10. Not seeing a thread yet, so thought I'd start one! Go Bills!
  11. Well, at least we get AW and Flash back.
  12. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/10/10/ranking-all-32-nfl-offensive-lines-entering-week-5/ Summary: "A big improvement here, and it’s not hard to figure out why, with Incognito the catalyst for a much-improved run blocking effort. Cordy Glenn has been his usual self, but it’s worth pointing out that Eric Wood has really elevated his game." As always, PFF ratings should not be taken as the be-all-end-all of football analysis, but thought this would be worth posting and discussing. We all knew Richie was playing great football, but I have felt that Cordy Glenn has been wrongly maligned by many on this board to this point. I'm sure many were just expecting him to ascend to the ranks of the elite, which was not unreasonable given the strong start to his career, but still he has been playing well. As far as Eric Wood is concerned, the summary cites an elevation to his game. I have not particularly noticed this, unless he was just so bad last year that elevating his game this year is playing average. He is overpaid to be average, but I like the guy and of course would be happy to see him do well for us. Maybe I'm just not noticing.
  13. I am saying we re-sign Gilmore - he is great and crucial for Rex's defense - with the exception being some other team offering him wayyyyy more $. Perhaps like Byrd, where we give him a good offer, but the Saints gave him way more than he was really worth so he left. It's hard to say what overpaying for his talents would be, but I do believe we will do everything in our power to retain him.
  14. Gilmore has been excellent. If we can re-sign a difference maker at a reasonable price, we should do it. It's particularly important for Rex's defense. Should Gilmore choose to walk for more money elsewhere, we have to let him go. Whaley can be trusted to find new talent, but great teams also find a way to retain their homegrown talent. People have been a little too hard on Glenn this year. He has been good. Others have said Glenn will get overpaid somewhere to be their LT. That may be the case, and we would have to let him go if it is, but if he signs a reasonable contract to stay with us, we should keep him around too. Much more so than CBs these days, OTs have been largely bad in their first year+ it seems. I don't trust Kudo and Seantrel just yet to man the ends yet.
  15. Think there's a difference between signing high-priced FA CBs, but extending a homegrown talent is fine, provided they don't leave you for more $.
  16. True, Graham and AW are our only reliable safeties.
  17. I don't even remember Karlos getting hurt. Two weeks missed would be a huge bummer.
  18. Fair enough. I just feel like that was often part of our plan, more so than I have seen with other teams. Gay did a really good job at it. Of course, when over coverage units stink it doesn't matter.
  19. I think this may fail to account for us purposely not kicking touchbacks. Gay could boom them high and a little short so we could force a return and have our coverage units take the runner down.
  20. Is he going to prepare for the Titans? Well, yeah, of course he is, but not before he gets a few beers and watches some hockey.
