  1. Well they can have him at that price!
  2. I can see Kap being successful in Denver. I'd take him over Brock easily.
  3. Hmmm. Well I wonder what our plan is. We need a guy that can play nose.
  4. The trade for Vontae was great, taking advantage of another awful front office in Miami, but was an outlier.
  5. I think they have some faith in Butler to emerge as a solid 3rd. And with Graham, AW and Rambo in the fold, we'll have plenty of versatility in the secondary. I just really hope Robey can step back up this year. He has regressed badly and I hope he can regain rookie form.
  6. Wowza! Not totally surprising, they opted to keep Graham over Leo essentially. I think that's the right move. Best of luck to my man!
  7. After Kujo's poor combine, he was still projected to be a top 50 pick. And remember, Whaley traded down and picked him. The pick at the time made sense. Unfortunately it appears Kujo never fully recovered from his knee troubles.
  8. I think we all want better than that. But that is hard to come by. If our defense doesn't improve, Taylor has to get better if we want to win, but if the defense returns to 2014 form we'd surely be in the playoffs.
  9. Houston, perhaps? But your point is still valid, as I don't think Tyrod was a dominant pocket passer last year. Our offense was predicated on the rushing attack and the deep ball, which Tyrod was able to run effectively most of the time. No doubt Kap's upside is higher. I've said before that his physical tools are the best in the NFL. He doesn't have the presence of mind or pocket that the best QBs have, but the dropoff in performance was rather startling. There was a noticeable lack of confidence with him, not sure where it came from considering how well he was playing before. The situation with Harbaugh certainly effected him, maybe more than I would have previously assumed. He wants out of SF for some reason.
  10. Sam Bradford is making a killing without really having to earn any of it!
  11. Loved the dude's spirit though, for real. If only he ran the ball better
  12. But who is gonna tell the camera that everyone is sleeping on us?
  13. I'll always remember those two big catch and run plays.
  14. Kraig was the better RG last year and has been a solid player for us. For being a backup/not being in our future plans I suppose this makes sense. The onus is on Miller now to take the next step.
  15. RIP F5 / mini-fridge.
  16. Peyton can't seriously be considering a return.
  17. In the New England game sure. But he played in essentially two games all year.
  18. The thing I always talk about regarding Brady is that nothing he ever does looks particularly impressive on an individual play basis. But he is maddening in his ability to slice up your D with the simple stuff. He almost always finds a way to pick up that third down conversion and they sustain long drives. He is basically the ultimate game manager type QB. But it does go to show you that the style of QB can win plenty of games.
  19. If Manny can still do the job for another year or two at this price, probably not.
  20. Peyton's legacy is sealed and I don't think any team in the NFL would start him at this point. To really consider returning for another season would be absurd.
  21. I was just saying the same thing, it was truly a defensive battle, and I liked that. I can see why my girlfriend and other casual fans would be bored, but if you're doing it right you're at a party with lotsa food and drink. So it can't be that bad!
  22. Both defenses have been phenomenal. But Denver forced turnovers closer to their end zone and that's what made the difference.
  23. Looks like Von gets MVP.
