  1. Teams also involve coaching, so let's not put the blame on a failed 2015 campaign squarely on the roster. Some aspects of our game improved, while others regressed, which was unfortunate but it's on to next year. However, I mostly want to point out that virtually no team can build a whole roster of starters from drafting alone. Teams miss in all rounds through no real fault of their own. You can pretty much never count on a day 3 selection to be a long term answer to any need your team has. It is always a blessing if that happens. Whaley had a high grade on kujo and wisely added insurance with the Henderson pick. They both could have turned out better, but you can't blame Whaley for poor drafting there. Who else could he have gotten at the time that would have changed everything for us? As for Miller, give him another year. I can't rant about every pick, I'm just saying teams probably hit on about half of their picks and they can't keep every one of them forever. And really, the only teams that can mask roster holes have stellar coaches and/or QBs.
  2. Can't wait for this next season's Color Rush!
  3. I do love #tyrodtailored. tyrod5taylor.com is kind of an odd choice, but it looks like tyrodtaylor.com was already taken. Weird.
  4. Beer me one defensive end.
  5. When have the Packers or Steelers made waves in the offseason with trades and signings? I get that they have QBs, but you don't have to make splash moves every season to be successful. We made a lot of moves last offseason and are keeping the key parts of our much improved offense in tact. We get a bigger bodies receiver out there and keep coaching the guys we have, we should be fine.
  6. Too bad chip no longer has that control.
  7. If Whaley is responsible for the 2013 draft, I can't take that as 100% truth. But in general that is a good philosophy. The Darby pick at the time seemed like a luxury pick, then turned out to be anything but.
  8. Agreed. I thought we had that situation where Woods was #3 as Harvin was #2. I think with the injuries Sammy and Percy sustained, plus Woods' groin thing, we never got to see all three of them out there at full-go (with maybe weeks 1 and 2 as the exception?). I know we want that bigger bodied guy too, but I would have liked to see that healthy trio, plus Hogan and Clay, out there down the stretch.
  9. Agreed. I don't think he'll ever put up monster numbers, but he's a useful tool for the offense.
  10. Was just trying to make a Bradford joke.
  11. I want to say turning it down, but that means their QB would be Sam Bradford.
  12. Old, but he's been productive.
  13. Agreed, for the injury problems alone. Harvin is the better player, but Goodwin is cheaper. I would think if we grab Kerley we lose both and possibly bring back Deonte, who looked like a stud in camp. They also seem pretty high on Salas but I don't quite know what his role would be at this time.
  14. Dude was a camp stud!
  15. The Cards are ready to make another run for a title this year. A one year rental on Jones is a good trade.
  16. Doomb. I've seen it both ways.
  17. With so many players leaving and Josh Gordon anything but a sure thing to return, I don't know if Hue alone can get me excited about playing for the Browns. But hey. maybe Hue can help revitalize his career in a city where expectations are already very low.
  18. Layed the wood on a few ST plays too, but yeah that's about it.
  19. Big money for him. Good for us.
  20. RBs getting paid so far.
  21. Oh totally, I was just surprised he got scooped up so quickly and overreacted. I liked him as a possibility for us.
  22. That might make sense too. Fitz can be success with that D a la last season, but he didn't play for kubs.
