  1. Honestly, they should IR the ****** and let him sit on his ass. Doesnt deserve a roster spot. If he EVER does play, does anyone feel he will go "all out" to make a play if he;s not 100%.. He is just a pain in butt and we should just IR him and let him go to FA known as a whiny biatch which will net him less dough and we free up a roster spot
  2. Mclovin, legursky and Byrd all inactive....
  3. Losing Levitre was by far the worst loss of offseason. Guards dont get noticed till they are GONE and u see what BAD guard play. On top of it, Levitre was a rock... was always on field , didnt have injury issues as was extremely versatile along line (except center, we all remember that debocle!) Its not like we didnt have the cap space. Obviously the money was high, but we really dont have much money devoted to OL. Wood just signed long term deal, Glenn is still in rookie contract. Pears is not expensive and the backups (including Brown cuz it makes me sick mentioning his name as a starter). With all the dough we dropped in past 2 yrs on D with Mario, extentending Kyle, mistake in Anderson. If you are going with the philosophy of building through the line, u build BOTH lines. He was such a huge loss for us and cuz he's simply a guard, it didnt seem as overwhelming. When u dont hear a guys name being called during the game, that means he;s doing his job and working effectively on his guy. Brown name and lowlights are shown WAY too often. As u said, even Rhinehart for god;s sake! He's been very solid so far with SD is easily much better than Brown and Legursky TOGETHER
  4. I think his best completion was in 4th Quarter to Chandler for like 17. He stood up in pocket and threw across field and led Chandler perfectly in good coverage and Chandler caught it right above defender in perfect position to get out of bounds and save clock . May not have had the result of Stevie's or the result of his TD to Chandler where he has pretty wide open but that throw is a NFL type throw that a QB has to have the ability to make.
  5. It really is.... i just cant believe the stupidity i've been reading... TRADE EJ, TRADE CJ. YES, it was a ugly loss, but its 1 game. EJ's growing on the job on WILL have some lumps. CJ looked out of sync. Guys get hurt, its NOT just us. Week 2 vs Carolina they had like more DB;s out than we did and we picked on them too..... Its just easier to over look when its not your team.... PPL need to CHILLAX!
  6. Are u kidding??? ARGUABLY ??? HE IS IS BY FAR AND AWAY THE BEST OFFENSIVE PLAYER!
  7. I dont understand how Freeman went into this doghouse... He is NOT a bad QB at all. Have u guys watched TB in past few yrs? Coming into to last yr he was very solidly entrenched as franchise QB and was having a very good yr and then the whole team sucked at end. Which is more cuz of Schiano being a moron and he is makes Gailey look like a quality HC. This yr, he drove them to GW drive in week 1 only to have Lavonte David cost them the game with stupid personal foul to put Jets in FG range. Drove them down to take lead in 4th vs Saints team that everyone thought would be a blowout only to have Brees run a perfect last drive of game to milk all the clock and set kicker up for easy GW FG. TB has a lot of solid pieces in place and putting Glennon in WILL NOT HELP. HC is one who needs to go, not Freeman. This is a team with a very good D, a top flight young RB and Vincent Jackson got his big pay day and has played like mid tier #1 WR. (Better than SJ13 even tho SJ is actually a friend of mine, not just my fav player). And Mike Williams is a very solid #2 and both are big and physical . The scheme on O is beyond vanilla and I for one would LOVE if we get to play them with Glennon. I'd even pick up Bills D in fantasy for that game cuz he;s statue in pocket and will get sacked 4+ times a game on avg and may throw for some decent yards (in garbage time) he will overthrow easy crossing routes over middle which will be a field day for safeties and hopefully Byrd is playing and healthy by then cuz that could be the game that he can put up big #'s stats wise for a Safety and he will be awful at slants too. Only thing Glennon does well is his has a cannon for an arm and can strretch field on deep balls and they have one of best WR in NFL for the deep in VJAX who is not only fast, he's huge and a mismatch on jump balls for 90% of DB's. Only thing, Glennon will probably over throw the deep balls as badly as Cam did vs us. He may have hit that 1 to Ginn which was on every quick game recap but they didnt show how many times he WELL OVERTHREW either Ginn or Smith and i think even Lafell got deep on a play and DB;s were beaten by a few yards on almost all deep balls in that game. We were lucky to win that 1 and when coaches went through tape i dont understand how they didnt realize even Jets moronic coaching would see Rogers getting TOASTED by Ginn play after play on tape. Didnt show in stats cuz only 1 was caught but the guy was beaten time after time and Geno had to be licking his chops. On Geno's 1st TD to Hill he had HEAVY pressure up middle from Kyle and had to RUSH the throw and on top on it throw of his back foot and still Rogers couldnt make play on ball that was thrown earlier than intended and without being able to step into it. Give Geno credit on that 1 too, cuz considering the pressure, he did STILL get the ball on the money and gave his WR a chance to make a play.
  8. This dude is Featherstone is movie Necessary Roughness.... actually, thats being nice, Featherstone did come on strong at end of movie! LOL Maybe more like the kid they taught to catch throwing him toilet paper rolls in Little Giants....
  9. You are right... It had to be PAINFUL to watch for him and Gilmore seeing their teammates get burned like that. We MUST get the Byrd man back on field ASAP... When Pettine shifted Aaron Williams back to his old spot at CB, he looked A LOT better than is yrs past. I think his problem was a confidence thing cuz he has the size and talent to be a #2 CB. Also, if Byrd comes back this week, we can shift Searcy to SS which is where he is much better suited, especially with us losing Carrington and Mario and Dareus knicked up. We will need a safety in the box and he is much better suited in that role as a potential blitzer and is better vs run than pass playing center field where he lacks the speed and insticts which can not be taught. Knowing how to read a QB is an art for a safety, guys like Ed Reed, Woodson and Byrd who is a top 5 safety who can hit and is great in coverage especially on the deep ball which has been our achilles heel last week and even week before when Ginn blew past Rogers. Roby is fine is the slot but is way too small to line up outside. We need to get healthy ASAP. Hopefully Mclovin's hammy is OK and can play this week and shadow Smith which isnt much on a possession WR, he's a home run threat with incredible speed and great instincts and hands to reel in deep balls. I'm already having nightmares of the thought on Rogers trying to contain him considering Holmes, Hill and Ginn all destroyed him and if not for a few errant throws by Cam where Rogers was beat a few other times, we could have easily lost that game too. Once (IF) secondary is healthy. With Gilmore lining up vs teams #1 which is approach Pettine has had over yrs with Revis and then Cromartie when Revis got hurt last yr and he has done that so far with Mclovin covering opposings #1's and has done excellent job and seems to be playing like guy we hoped for when we spent a #1 pick on him. He could then shift to cover teams #2 and we can have Byrd playing CF and Williams roaming around at SS and Searcy or Jimmy Leonhard as 3rd safety when we go to 3 safety looks. I just dont understand how by like 9:00 am monday we didnt sign a FA. Its not like there is no one out there worth taking flyer on. Off top of my head i can think of 2 solid vets who could come right from the couch and do MUCH better job than Rogers. Ex Bill Clements seems to me, as best option. Played mostly safety last yr but has been effective throughout entire career. Sheldon Brown... i havent followed him much over past 2 yrs, but i do remember he was a shutdown corner back in Philly and has at least shown he's capable of playing at high level. Why not AT LEAST reach out to a few and bring them for a workout and see if they are in game shape cuz in Pettine's D, the ONLY position that's "easy" for a player to come in and play, and play immediately is CB. We are basically in man to man coverage on all plays so ANY CB off street has done that is his career and would not require much to learn playbook cuz the assignment is simple. COVER YOUR GUY! I just dont understand how we havent already addressed this first thing monday morning. Even if Rogers is Pettines long lost son, u gotta get this out of situations where he is doomed to fail. Finding a CB should have been done the second Gilmore went down. All the did was sign practice squad caliber guys and expect "next man up" at position we had no depth to begin with and then to put icing on cake, Brooks went down and is out multiple weeks. He my not be a shut down corner, but was great is college is top D in country and is much more physical and better in coverage than Rogers. Even if they think Rogers has some sort of enormous "potential" (highly unlikely) u gotta get the guy out of there at least for a few weeks till we get healthier or use him only when teams bring in 4 WR and put him on LAST option not teams #1 or even #2's. He is over matched and getting beaten play after play will ruin him mentally for when he goes back to what he is. A #5 or 6 CB
  10. I'd rather see Gilmore out there with a cast on 1 hand and be a liability tackling over 150% Rogers... Obviously a DB needs his other hand, but at least Gilmore is able to break up a pass and still lock down his man... DL do it all the time. Gilmore AND Byrd both NEED to get their butts on the field ASAP. I know they have to think of "their" careers but if they have ANY heart... Yesterday had to be beyond painful for them to watch. 1- Rogers getting roasted play after play and Searcy being out of place almost EVERY play. Watching that game was 1 of the most painful games i've ever watched and i havent missed 1 snap of a game in over 20 years. Coming into the game, I had such hope for this team and seeing them get BREAK AFTER BREAK from refs and Jets not being able to "close". Huge int by Geno and getting stuffed on 4th, having no challenges and not being able to challenge EJ's FUMBLE cuz it was a fumble, no way was he down. Jets had 20 penalties..... I felt like all the crap that was happening normally WE are on short end of stick on bad calls, awful turnovers etc... EJ looked LOST.. and that;s being nice about it. TJ Graham is beyond awful, all he can do is run a fly pattern.
  11. this has to be ugliest game i've ever watched
  12. When EJ Manuel leads us to a Superbowl victory this yr in NY! Oops? pre-mature??? GO BILLS!
  13. Ya and a loss for that matter and TO didnt catch a pass till late in 4th quarter That isnt cool to even joke about... As amazing he was as a player, but is a disgrace to HUMANITY.
  14. The Oilers, playoff record comeback HAS to take the cake. I'm 33 and was a youngster and was at 1 of my dad;'s friends houses along with a bunch of their friends who are all Dolphins fans and they were all trying to console me at halftime cuz i had a tendency to go a little nuts (to say the least) and when we recovered that onside kick i said to them, thats it! they are coming back! Everyone thought i was nuts cuz deficit was still big and they didnt want me getting my hopes up, but at the end of the day, the tears from halftime turned into tears of joy! The worst.... Music city Miracle... i punched the wall and shattered 2 bones in my hand and could not watch another game that post season!
  15. Unlikely... U think the Colts game means more to them than a DIVISION game?? Especially to a Rams squad than is much better than few yrs ago and who tied them AND Beat them last yr??? If Harbaugh sits him... its THIS week in an inter-conference game. Obviously EVERY game in NFL is crucial cuz its just 16 game schedule but a loss out of conference hurts the least in standings for division and conference titles which Niners will be in hunt for.
  16. TE position is huge weak spot. With this kinda O, he need a TE that can run after catch. Chandler was slow to begin with and was good with Fitz cuz Fitz was always high on passes and he's 6'7. But in this O, lots of drop offs and quick hitters to TE and Chandler cant do that. Fortunately, it wasnt a fumble when he dropped that pass early in game. Celek from Eagles took the same play for like 40 yards in week 1.. I was really hoping we would address TE in draft and not in 7th round. Hopefully next draft. Brown has been weak spot on OL, Carrington has been OK, just hasnt shown in stat sheets YET.. TJ Graham reminds me on Featherstone in movie Necessary Roughness! LOL
  17. Good call, was awful as a CB but outside of that AWFUL penalty we took at crucial moment of game on a 3rd and long and ball was thrown so far out of bounds and CLEARLY incomplete, he nails WR for no reason.. Second i saw that, it felt like slow motion watching ref pull out the flag cuz it was so damn obvious and a bonehead play that kept a 4th quarter drive going instead of getting them to punt. Outside of that play (and they pulled him to the sideline and subbed him out for a play for a probably tongue lashing, it was only play he wasnt on field all day and has been very solid in coverage and has been great in making the tackles he needs to make.
  18. Thats first thing i was thinking.. We didnt land just Woods in 2nd, by trading down in 1st we got an extra 2nd which netted us Kiko who among with Mario has been our best players on D.
  19. no one worse than Tasker.. he gets the crappy games usually, which is why he's had so many of ours in the past. Mind you, after hearing Ronde Barber on fox last week... i'm happy we only have only 1 game left on fox this yr! that was probably the worst game of so called analysis i've heard. All game long the only "zinger" they would throw in which seemed like EVERY drive was when the color commentator would say to Ronde " too bad they dont have u out there" referring to depleted secondary of Carolina who came in the game with issues there like we did but had like 3 guys get hurt in game and lost Mickell for the yr after he made a nice play.
  20. I just cant believe the announcers, especially Mayock not questioning Chip's call fr going for 2 point conversion when in was 10-6 EARLY in game???? I watched almost every Oregon game last 2 years and Chip is known for going for 2 on 1st TD of game or at least lining up for 2 then switching back tp kicking extra point... but this is the NFL..... and u dont have mismatches u had at Oregon... Chip is gonna have to learn to merge some NFL mentality into his "system" cuz even if it was converted, its a 10-8 game???? Just seems too cocky for his own good and thinking he is above NFL. Even Marrone got some question marks for going for 2 in 14-12 game late in 3rd quarter and WE CONVERTED IT!! if we fail I personally like the 2 point calls once u are in 2nd half and it being difference from being down 1 or tied like Marrone did cuz even if we kicked it, we would still have been down 1. The ONLY difference had we not converted it would have IF Panthers had scored a TD we would have been down 2 scores at 9 rather than a TD and a 2 point conversion. We STILL would have needed the 2 later on had they scored a TD (which they didnt) and also, Panthers would have been A LOT more prepared for it. If down 8 and driving, the whole world knows that u need to score TD nd score the 2. Going for it in late 3rd, D was not sure we would go for it AND key was momentum was on our side. I also think its alot easier to convert a 2 after a rushing TD cuz most teams throw on 2's and considering Freddy got such a good push on line and drove into endzone, D had to respect a running play, or a zone read with Manuel possibly pulling it back to run or throw and it opened up a perfect route by Woodsy and EJ hitting exactly where throw was supposed to be, nice and low so Woods can catch it and not get de-headed for Safety or LB... Philly will be fun to watch all yr and great for your fantasy teams if you own Shaddy, Desean or Vick (if he stays healthy, and after both last 2 games, by end of game was limping around and last night if that play wasnt ruled a fumble, Foles was getting ready to come in cuz Vick got his ankles turned a bit on that sack. I got Desean and Shaddy so i;m happy camper as well as CJ from us!
  21. Just saw on ticker during pre-game on NFL network...
  22. It would be great if the guy spoke english when interviewed.... Not sharpest tool in shed which is man to man is where he excels. Anything involving brains..... nope.... He's looking like a great #2 corner but hearing his post game interview, the guy is dumb as bricks..
  23. Yes, but it was a TERRIBLE decision... He stared him down for soooo long and the second he threw the ball (WR was in picture yet, camera was still on EJ) i had a really bad feeling cuz he really telegraphed that pass and there were alot of Panthers around the ball. He checks down sometimes a little too fast but all in all, he;s been fantastic. To have the sack, strip fumble and on next drive throw that awful int and then the next drive looking very confused on 3rd and almost threw another pick on attempt to Freddy... To come back and lead a 2 min drill with no timeouts is great. Mind u, alot of the plays on that drive were checkdowns of which 2 were over the middle that ran alot of clock.. The play of the game was made by Freddy. Once we crossed midfield, which was after the 2 checkdowns to Freddy and CJ, Manuel made a mistake that should have cost us the game. With like 35-40 seconds left on clock, he checked down again to Freddy basically at LOS if not behind with a defender wrapped right up on him. Freddy made the smartest play of game and DROPPED ball on purpose. If not for the savvy vet play to drop the ball knowing he was gonna get tackled in bounds for no gain and running precious seconds of clock, we would not have been in position to get in red zone.. I've been extremely impressed with Freddy's leadership on this team. I love having 2 RB's that can both be effective running the ball and catching it and still have completely diff skill sets for "change of pace" backs. Not to mention him catching a ball that was only a 5-6 yarder and breaking a tackle by Kuehchly (not easy thing to do) and pick up 14 yards on play. CJ is the best player on this offense, but Freddy brings so much to this team even tho it seems he has lost a step or 2 and has very little burst. He plays with guts and is a team captain for a reason. Probably the most respected player in clubhouse.
  24. I live in S. Fla... i go to the Bills game every yr when they play the Dolphins and NEVER had a problem... And i'm LOUD and sometimes a little obnoxious! However, i do always sit right behind Bills sideline and that section is like 60% or even more Bills fans so i feel right at home! Miami fans have no passion for their team!
  25. Woke up super early this morning cuz i was so excited from yesterdays game that i could not sleep and was reading all the articles i could find about yesterdays game and had Mike and Mike on as i usually do in the AM. Mario came on at 8:05 this morning and at end of interview (very brief and kinda hard to understand Mario) but at very end of interview, the show posted a heading, EJ Manuel tomorrow morning. Life feels so much better when the Bills win!!
