If we're ONLY talking about the Super Bowl, sure, 20 other QBs could have won based on how well Tampa's D played. Could 20 other QBs have taken that team TO the Super Bowl to even have a chance to win it? I say not even close. Even with Brady, their margin for error was basically one game from not making the playoffs at all.

Also Corey Bojorquez should get some coverage. Not only is he leading the NFL in punting average (50.5yds), he's in the top 5 for best averages in NFL history. Only catch is a minimum of 40 punts is required over a full season to be counted and the Bills basically no longer punt. He's at 37, so counting punts can add some excitement to the Dolphins game.

I assume that's another AFC player of the week for Allen? -
Week 14 SNF: Bills Whoop Steelers PostGame Thread

To be fair the sound bite was on the last time there was a SNF game IN Buffalo. It's fine, they now have new footage when they put next year's BUF/PITT game in Buffalo on SNF again. -
Week 12 Post Game thread Bills vs Chargers

Super random but on the broadcast they mentioned the first hail mary that drew OPI was actually dropped going to the ground. Anybody catch if it was complete or not? Clearly not important but just curious if they should have declined the penalty and gotten the ball on downs instead of giving up the next hail mary. -
Exactly, who cares about losing to the Cardinals on an incredible play that put us at 7-3. Are people forgetting that just two weeks ago without our own perfect play, the Zimmer punch, we'd have lost to the Patriots at home on basically a last second play? 2 weeks apart some amazing play ended up sealing the game, one in our favor and one against. Pretty sure everyone here would take the ARI loss for the NE win every time. We're now 5-1 in one score games. I don't know how you complain about that.

Didn't say he was You're right though - was 2015 binders in red, 2016 in white.

They're his weekly game plan notes and scouting for each game while he was with the Bills. The red binders on the top row are for each 2017 game, white binders on the bottom are 2016.

Sirius NFL training camp today 3-6 pm Bills
disco replied to machine gun kelly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
perfect. small correction to your earlier post - we dropped extra cost for streaming last year so it's included for basically everyone at this point. If you have it in your car, def go get your credentials. no extra payment required. -

just make sure you've got a car account connected. unfortunately you won't have access to SXM NFL radio on a streaming only account or trial. i'll post clips later if anyone misses content and wants to listen. -
haha it wasn't a story, it was a literal copy/paste of a reddit user posting his theory.

You can send it in to PSA or Beckett to get certified. It might cost you $50 though. I actually think your biggest issue is it being signed on the back. I think most people would rather display the front than an ad. You might be able to get another program and frame it so you've got the front and back side by side - I can see appeal there. However as others have said if the goal is to sell your ceiling is likely a few hundred bucks if you can find the right Bills fan. Decent way to get this is to look at other autographed programs that have successfully sold on eBay. In almost all cases it's autographed covers that sell. A cover SB XVIII signed by Aikmen went for $100...might be your closest comp. Or there's an 1985 Bears program in there by most of the major team members that went for $200. Anyhow good luck.

NBA players to wear monitoring rings

As I understand it Apple Watch checks HRV only a few times daily vs continuous tracking from Oura (at least overnight - not sure about during the day) -

Oops you're right forgot it does body temperature too which may be unique vs other trackers. Does the Fitbit HR do heart rate variability? I thought that was the difference vs just heart rate but could be wrong. It's sleep tracking is also quite good, though most of the recommendations from sleep are based off the trends in heart rate variability and changes in body temp as you sleep. I did since read Oura is claiming their study has been 90% accurate in predicting covid positive at least 24 hours prior to symptoms. So maybe I'm not giving them enough credit but I'm going to stay skeptical. No downside to it I guess. -

I actually have used an Oura ring for awhile. It's nothing magical, it's basically just a Fitbit or Apple Watch that also tracks heart rate variability. It's a cool device but I'm skeptical they've been reliably able to identify signals/indicators of COVID (they've been collecting data to try and do so since ~April) -
I promise you this board would be celebrating getting the guy nearly everybody had mocked off the board before us. I'll make a note Gunnerbill had him at 8 and should not be included.

I think if the Bills had stuck at 22 and gotten Jefferson we'd all be thrilled. But I still would take Diggs 10 times out of 10 for our situation. I think Allen needs someone that already knows how to be an excellent pro, and Diggs being so highly regarded at creating separation is also ideal. Biggest knocks I've seen on Jefferson is creating separation, though we'll see if accurate. More importantly it's we don't really have the luxury to hope another WR pans out and the time it normally takes (at least a year) to do so. Plus Diggs is already relatively cheap as #1WRs go, but cap room also is no issue. This was a good move by Beane. I think it's a decent move for MINN too given Diggs not wanting to be there, but a little curious to pick another slot guy when that's what they already have. But I get it for best available.

Would you be okay if Josh is next Cutler?
disco replied to Ga boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is not the hill I want to die on. However from the 1983 draft class of Marino, Elway, and Kelly - Marino and Elway are 5th and 9th all time for passing yards despite playing in that same older era. Similar rankings for most major categories. It is somewhat remarkable that of all QBs from all era, Cutler and Kelly are within a few spots of each other for a ton of major categories and, in most cases right around Top 30 all time. For yards, for example, Kelly is 27th and Cutler 28th. QB rating Kelly 40th Cutler 36th. Passing yard per game Cutler 30th Kelly 35th. Passes complete Cutler 26th Kelly 29th. I didn't know any of this when I first posted. But even ignoring the Kelly/Cutler comparison, Cutler being ~Top 30 in all time yards, TDs, QB rating is rather impressive. I was responding to the comment "why would you be be ok with on field performance of Cutler". I'm just suggesting that if he did what Cutler did on the field it's actually a fairly high bar. For the most part, ability and performance on the field weren't the issue for Cutler. disco replied to Ga boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously I wouldn't be ok with the other aspects of Cutler that made him less than I think he perhaps could have been. However just on production...if he put up Jay Cutler numbers over a career it could be argued that would make him the most productive QB in Bills history. And sure I'm stretching that somewhat for reaction with Jim...but just for reference, the regular season career totals of two QBs below - one is Jim Kelly and one is Jay Cutler. Games Yards TD INT Rating 160 35,467 237 175 84.4% 153 35,133 227 160 85.3% -
I saw a few users had summarized the interviews from the tour the other day and noted there was not a link to the audio. I went ahead and made links to the on-demand content if there are SiriusXM subscribers that want to listen. See below. Also - if you're a subscriber that has only listened in your car, in July streaming was added for no extra cost to most subscriptions. Just go here to create credentials so you can listen on mobile/home devices: https://siriusxm.us/2yDkp5U Hope that's helpful for some. Interviews are great.
