i saw the cowboys game and parts of the arizona/49ers game... Jags looked TERRIBLE to start... maybe even worse than that pats looked in their 1st half. However, its year 2 of bledsoe in dallas, and he's fitting right into his formula of suckage after he builds hope his 1st year. The cardinals game was actually entertaining. the cards will be as good as warner/leinhart can play. The 9ers are a young team and almost had the win. They'll both be good in the next couple of years.

i'll take that... remember, the 2003 pats got beat 31-0 in their opener... they won the super bowl. the 1990 bills went 1-2 and they were on their way to 1-3 before they turned it around. i'm not going to dwell on this game too much... i was actually ok with it right after it was over. the dissapointment of miami, the chargers, and pats last year was not there for me today. I'm looking forward to listening to my postgame podcasts this week and see where we stand next week. If there's more growth next week, i'll actually get excited. It's 1 draft, 1 preseason, and 1 regular season game, but the entire philosophy of this team has shifted from the previous 5 years and its actually going to be exciting.

did the bills play well enough to win, yes. did the refs screw the bills on some calls, yes did the bills play well enough to overcome the screwjob, no. when they learn to overcome the unfavorable calls, they won't get them anymore.

I agree for the most part. I have a tough time getting down on this game. It sucks to lose, however, this is a rebuilding team that is young. To stay in this game like they did, and force marcia to play like sh-- for the first half of the game was very impressive to me. It will take a few more games, but hopefully they'll get their kinks out and will start to produce.

i agree with that call too. jauron should have challenged the spot, and if he has any nuts, he should receive a fine for criticizing the refs. that whole whitner thing stunk of a fix situation
